Whoa - well done! How is it possible that you have ONLY 1k views in the past 9 mos? This is a wonderful service that you’ve done to offer this list. Oddly enough, I came to this video because I liked your chicken video. 🤣🐓 I placed a medical supply order thru Amazon yesterday with the intent of just building up my gauze supply. You just shared a WEALTH of good ideas. I live alone, got animals, got garden tools that resemble weapons 🤣 and….i’m old and don’t have good balance anymore. I tripped on my cement driveway a couple of weeks ago. I did wound care on my dog yesterday (she removed my bandaging, of course). So, YES, we all need to be prepared for all kinds of weird bruises and boo-boo’s. I need to review my meds for chickens and meat rabbits as well. Sigh. And then organize everything. I also looked into taking a First Aid class and noted that Red Cross offers classes online. That might be a good start for me. They even offer a dog & cat 1st aid class! I’m liking that saline solution you showed…..will add to my shopping list. A sincere THANK YOU!
Check out the local TSC for coband, animal version of quick stop to help stop bleeds, among a few other awesome items. Injectable lidocaine I only ever found in dental stuff but definitely lidocaine patches & creams are available 4% and definitely some Voltaren or diclofenac type NSAID topical pain reliever…

This was so helpful for me. Thank you! My only potential add on would be Instant cold packs.
Now if I can remain conscious long enough to get it bandaged...

Great list
I bought the 2013
As a CPhT, I'd recommend the Tarascon Pocket Pharmacopeia for drug info, it's great. Good list.
If there are no doctors, there likely will be few drugs too right?
Q - what’s your opinion on Clozex Laceration Repair Kit vs Butterfly Bandage? Up to 1.5” Looks effective to my novice eyes.
Pros: They're extremely effective, quick & easy to apply. Cons: expensive. About 4/$20
@@ethereal369 thank you! I rather like the term “effective”!
2013 is valid. 2024 is political so it is not necessarily valid.
Political?
