10000 I remember going to buy an RD 350 in 2005. My friend bought Mohanlal's 1985 film used in a movie (Manassil Uru Mazhamut). Now it is in his hand. 1985 Kerala Ganesh Kumar Sir buys a rd 350 first bike of the year Bullet price is 16000 rupees while RD 350 is 24000 rupees. Better experience for me

RD 350 was twin cylinder Two Stroke Engine ! Because of Air pollution all two stroke engines are banned to use on the Roads internationally, all two stroke engines has lots of power, there was a Kawasaki 3 cylinder 750 cc two stroke motorcycle same time it was called widow maker, also there was Suzuki 370 cc 3 cylinder bike. this YAMAHA RD 350 and TZ350 and all the same two stroke Motorcycles were most dangerous and unsafe motorcycles on the road. Didn't see the blue smoke ? Rajdoot and Escort company bought the RD 350 model manufacturing unit from Yamaha because this Two stroke engine bike were banned in USA, Europe and Japan due to very dirty air quality emission , they sold this bikes in India which were banned all Europe and USA.

Hello Sir . Just wanted to point out that 2 strokes are not actually Banned internationally . There is even a 250cc 2 stroke that passed euro 5 emmision norms and is currently road legal (langen 250cc) . There are also very small amount of companies that make 2 stroke road legal bikes now .

@@anandsai3588 I started my Career as Motorcycle Mechanic, Bullet 350, Jawa 250, Rajdoot 350cc and 175 cc. and studied for Aircraft Maintenance, Worked for British Airways and Kuwait Airways in the 1980s , My field of Expertise was Engine Performance (now retired) worked in California (27 years) 18 years in California Bureau of Automotive Repair & Emission Control as Automotive Technician (State Licensed Tech). There is no street legal 2 stroke engine vehicles there since 1974, Yamaha engines are one of the best 2 stroke engines ever built, still using on Boats and off road motorcycles every where and legal in some African and some other countries. In the 1970s, I worked as Lead Mechanic with Bombay Engineering co. Rajdoot Dealer Bombay Central Tardeo region, I worked on Rajdoot 350 RD, and 175 cc motorcycles too. Rajdoot started marketing This 350 CC bike in 1983, came to the market in 1984 (It was big failure for fuel mileage problems with Dual Crabeater engine lubrication etc.. 2 stroke engine problems) , I had a 1983 model Honda CB400N at that time, which was UK model imported from Dammam Saudi Arabia (see my f b Pollayil Alexander). I used to travel Kerala (Kozhikode) to Bombay on that Bike. Kawasaki, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, German Zundap, italian Motoguzy, Rotex, Villies James , BSA all made 2 stroke motorcycles & Scooters Earlier until 1979, This RD 350 model was rejected by the Bureau of Automotive due to high Hydro Carbon (HC) and Carbon Monoxide (CO) Emission. I know some cities in Europe allow 2 stroke motorcycle and scooters under 250 cc which are not Highway legal not in Germany , UK, USA or Canada. Still there are many outboard boat 2stroke engines used on Boats.

But as i said there were road legal 2 strokes in this day and age . If you could kindly search about the langen 250cc 2 stroke motorcycle , which is outrageously expensive but non the less was a 2 stroke road legal motorcycle
