Please what is hotel name
Wooow!! I quite remember when Mensvic hotel was being put up way back in the late 2000's, I went like waooow!!! very big and I never knew, it's owned by our very own until today. Happy to know this today and kudos to you and your dad.
This man is a true African busineman, smart and resilient. How do I know? It took him 8 years to build his hotel, which means that he did it bit by bit and therefore did not take out any huge loans from anybody. The advantage of that strategy is that you start making money from day 1 because the hotel belong to you 100% and you do not have to use any part of your profits to pay creditors. Just from this hotel, the man is already worth tens of million $. Another thing is his involvement in the business day to day. I know from experience that in Africa, if you are not personally involved in your business, you will only make 60-70% of what you should be making because of extra management fees, losses due to people not always doing the right thing.
Smart indeed..
I’m very proud of him . Inshallah, I will book my upcoming trip to Ghana.
"people not always doing the right thing" is a VERY POLITE way of saying people stealing!! lol lol lol, i know so, bcoz we run a family hotel, and we saw how staff steal!! we did some mystery shopper to catch them!! bloody thieves!!
So this is who owns the hotel?? Thats interesting... i used to go swimming every saturday.. seeing this just brought back memories..
Loved how you edited it Vanessa!😍😍 thank you for letting me join you again ❤️
So you’re from an affluent family but you’re so down to earth. Really proud of you ❤️❤️❤️💫
How come the hotel shows booked on all online portals?
@@garbi27 Please try giving them a call❤️
Oh wow, you are from noble home and you're so respectful down to earth .
Oneesan Genki?
I stayed here in december 2018, and I must say, I was very pleased with the service. The people at the front desk were very nice and made our stay there very comfortable. They even gave us a crib fir my 1yr old.
Smart businessman who has laid the foundation for his family. Great content. Very inspirational for upcoming African entrepreneurs.
The prices of hotel in Ghana are very expensive, however it is beautiful hotel, next time I travel to Ghana i will stay in his hotel to support his business
really expensive, in Nigeria I stay in hotel like this ,I just pay 50 dollar for one day..
Very expensive on like in Nigeria hotel.
@@peterabraham3407 even you can still get up 30 dollars like this type of hotel.
Yes Ghana lifestyle is very expensive, i don't know why....
@@nabssbeatz6391 Because so many Black Americans are moving there and it's helping the economy in Ghana "The Year of Return" was all a ploy to get money from the diaspora. The average Ghanaian can't afford these prices and they aren't creating jobs for citizens but everything is so expensive African leaders are so corrupt and do a lot for personal gain.
Interesting decor.
Mr. Williams made an important point. If you want your business to remain profitable in Ghana, you have to be involved at every step
Thats the key
The hotel is beautiful. A little word of advice would be to change the sign in the front. Let people know how beautiful you he hotel is on the inside. The sign is plain and boring where I think it can benefit from pizzazz
Agree, very observation. Entrance inside the Hotel should truly impress the guests for a Hotel of that size.
Very good Constructive Criticism....I would do the same
The man ìs a real businessman.
The prices are reasonable.
I find some Ghana Hotels overpriced so I tend to take my holidays in Asia
The customer service in Ghana is a bit lacking but this gentleman has given me a new perspective.I'll be considering taking my holidays in Ghana soon.
Watching from Sydney Australia
I came here after randomly watching his daughter's videos. I really enjoy his life stories. So many lessons to learn from him
I learnt a lot from the humility and the business principles....
I never knew marintia dad was the owner of mensvic. Wow soo intelligent man. I'm very impressed
You guys are doing such great work selling Ghana to the world in the brightest light it could be.
I used to go there more when I lived in East Legon. For dinner and drinks by the pool with friends. They had a beauty shop where I did my nails sometimes too.
Ivy .. wasup
@
Ivy Prosper you, I often see you on a french radio canada generic in Montreal. were you a journalist, you appeared as an interviewer ???
@@wawawawar4559 you see me on a generic ad in Montreal??? Are you sure? If this is true I need to see evidence. I filmed a TV series in Montreal somewhere around 2009-2010. If there is content of me being shown right I need to know because they owe me money if that's the case. Please email me the proof info@ivyprosper.com
Yes I'm a journalist.
@@IvyProsper It's the Téléjournal section that it comes out, it's a brief, it does not always appear, the day or I will feel that this generic will be released I will try to film it and put it temporarily on my youtube channel so that you See, because I watched your videos from time to time, that's why I recognized you. ici.radio-canada.ca/tele/emissions
i know you were in canada before
@@wawawawar4559 Also note that if it's in French it was not me. Everything I filmed in Montreal was done in English.
Nice one. I didn't know her dad owns this hotel. You are blessed
A classic example of saying LOVE is blind.Steven is a hardworking African man and his Japanese wise is a SUPER woman for sticking with him true thick and thin.may God, Almighty bless you more. Your daughter too is also brilliant. Very keen and polite, looking after her parents business. Love doesn't see colour in human beings but heart. I write from London. Well done you couple

My dad used to take us to swimming lessons at Mensvic every Sunday afternoon when I was 4-8 yrs old. I'm now 20. ... It's one of the most popular hotels in Accra
Never knew Marintia's dad was the owner. What a small world
Wowwwww, this was something else. Love the way the hotel name came into existance and the african interiors etc. Beautiful. Very proud of him.
I'm in my late 20s but I'm inspired by the business man and what he has accomplished,I'm going to work smart to have my own businesses in the future as well, nice video
I like the story telling part of the video.
I like the fact that you switched scenes often, so not to bore us👌
I wonder why she doesn’t feature her dads hotel more often. With her abilities in social media - I would expect to already know so much about it.
An Inspirational interview. Mr. Stephen Williams has built a fortune for his family for many generations. His daughter Marintia Goto-Williams just have to be prepared to carry out her family legacy.
It will be nice for your subscribers to see an interview with Mr. Williams wife. Stay safe. Respect and blessings from the Caribbean.
Wow, this looks awesome! 😍
:)
Oh that hotel is really nice. Good to get to know the owner and his daughter.I remember writing my ACCA exam there some years ago.
very inspiring! keep these contents coming. we the youth need some motivation to keep us moving
Loved the room with the colorful art work on the walls.
I love your interviews because you allow people time to speak. Would definately stay here if I ever visit Ghana.
Good to see the conclusion, and that investment mr Williams brought to his country of birth. One love from NYC.
I have been there; 7 years ago this month actually. We sat in a corner beyond the pool. Pretty serene place.
You make it man.. God bless you and your family. You gave me hope
Was miss Goto wearing one of his dad shirts😃😃? True business man great to watch.
Thoroughly enjoyed this thanks :)
Mind-blowing life lessons. Have learnt a lot ..
I uses to think Dakar was the most expensive of the west African cities but guess it will be Accra now. Not been there since early 90's. Obviously from all these videos things have changed.
This lady is super rich in Ghana as his father is able to set the record straight forward for her. Those mix Africa and European born has a great opportunity in Ghana especially when the parents have a business idea. Money and resources
What do you mean by those mixed born have a good opportunity in Ghana?..
Do they get better treatment than Pure Ghanaians in business?.. Enlighten me..
@@natronmeans6264 your way of thinking is far from that. Do you look face before treating anyone in Ghana
@@adupako1057
Think before you speak then..
YOU stated that these mix-breeds/foreign borns have it good in Ghana..
YOU make it sound like they're better off than Natural Ghanaians because of this mixture.. So i ask again, clarify if it's not what you meant..
@@natronmeans6264 if you don't understand why talk rubbish it. Every reasonable person will pass away since the person doesn't understand what I'm talking about. Did you think before replying%
@@adupako1057
I read what you said & you just don't want to admit that you put mix-breeds on pedestals..
I’ stayed here in 2012 and I absolutely loved it. I stayed for a week and the ppl are so nice and I hope to see them again
Amazing interview YOU KNOW!!!!
That's a great looking hotel. Continued success.

Love this
Hello Vanessa, is there part 3 coming up ? If not then you forgot to put the phone number and the homepage of the Hotel for us to contact or check it out.
Nice, Beautiful, luxurious hotel. I love the Afrikan ambiance. The signage needs to be bold with colourful flowery lights glowing at night. It's good for marketing.
Wow...Vanessa is a boss interviewer....good job..
This is beautiful I would love to visit!!!
Soo proud of u Ooo my sister
The top of the building can be used as a sky bar or something
This is beautiful. The hotel is also spacious.
That is good. Hopefully covid will be over soon and business can go back to normal 🙏🏿
For real I saw this hotel been building look nice i will be there when I visit back home......
We are proud of you brother
I am wondering why the 6 deslikes. Do those who desliked this video really have normal brains, or are they natural-born haters, who just hate anything good(the progress of a man for the benefit of a society).
The 6 dislikes came from haters.
Man, failures hate whatever comes their way, they can even hate a day born baby, calling him/her ugly, haven't U ever seen some one can hate U jst cuz U better off!!
Watching from the Kingdom of Tonga. (A Tongan married to a Ghanaian). Love your chanel dear as I'm prepping with hubby and kids to come to Ghana when border opens.
Guess what Tonga means in Ghana?
Where is tonga
Nice! Ghanaians are in every space on earth
Some part of Tonga have culture like Africa.

Mensvic is a very nice hotel. delta put me there when flight was cancelled
Really nice, so inspiring, it’s a beautiful hotel but I think they need an interior designer in the rooms
Wow so is for her father
This is quite a Story. Huge respect to this man! What an amazing place he built!

Very impressive bro!! Your Patriotism is Palpable.
Very beautiful décor

May her soul rest in peace
So sorry. I hope you are happy.
Really nice👌👌
Beautiful, I am proud for your Family
Great place
Bless you my brother bless
Very humble man.
That's also my dream, may God bless you to live long sir
Very beautiful
I would put a restaurant on the rooftop and build a nightclub in there. So that there would still be business going on on the premise during Coronavirus shutdown. And I will definitely lower the price of the rooms to $60 a night. Now most of the rooms are not rented and no money is coming in. It makes no sense to keep these high prices when there is no customers coming in.
TRUE,the rooms are outrageously expensive.A single room for $150!
Is this US$ 150 ?
Well, looks like you have some great ideas for your hotel when you build one
Yes that’s very expensive
Wow! I love when such likable and humble people succeed! And also I really admire their courage in starting their own business!
Vanessa, you really did see a lot of things and produced a whole lot of documentaries in your rather short stay! Wow! 😯
Thanks for sharing with us!😘
Hi dear
Nice!
