I love how your accent changes depending on what side of the family you’re with. Beautiful
Yeppp
Exactly! It's fluid like cool water.
And there’s me who just has a messed up accent that doesn’t sound like any country’s
@@rachelcookie321, embrace that! I grew up in South Florida and have taken on a blend of accents. It makes others feel comfortable because I sound like everybody.
Very true 👍🏾
Speaks Ghanaian english accent like a Ghanaian girl, with british english accent, like a brtish girl and with japanese accent, like a Japanese girl. Very talented. That's wonderful 😊

EVERYBODY KNOWS JOLLOF!!! Grandma is 100% on point!!!
The young lady may not know how to blend the jallof but she certainly knows how to blend her family (the Ghanaian and Japanese). I love her for that.
I like your linguistic variations ,your Ghanaian accent is amazing . I love your interaction with people ..
The way she hesitated and said “you can” when you asked if you could be a good jollof chef 😭😭😭😭🤣🤣
Grandma: erhn?

Woww so she had ur dad when she was 18yrs. WOWWW . AMAZING.❤. BEAUTIFUL Granny.
I’m Jamaican married to a Nigerian. In Jamaica, our version of Jollof is called seasoned rice. In other parts of the Caribbean it’s called “pillao”, or cook up rice. But yep, it’s in the islands.
We call it "pilau" in East Africa, from Tanzania 🇹🇿
@@dominicknkinga1092A staple celebration dish for us Zanzibaris!!! Tuko pamoja
I'm a Londoner hun and I've tried almost all jollof and I'll go with Nigerian jollof any day anytime it is the best.

Hi Marintia. I stumbled across your channel, and instantly loved your energy, attitude, maturity and content. I love how you embrace your mixed heritage and slip so easily into the different accents. I watched your video with your 92 year old Japanese Grandma and I love how much you appreciate them. Your are an amazing young woman. Keep doing what you are doing. I hope to visit Japan soon. Maybe you should do a video on some nice places to visit for 1st time visitors. Stay Blessed!! ❤️💛💚
I have eaten the finest of both Ghanaian and Nigerian Jollof. It’s basically a different dish, if you ask me. I love both🥰
Waooo i could take you to a lovely restaurant in Nigeria 🇳🇬 where you eat the best Jollof rice 🍚

Always on point, my number 1 female vlogger
You have mastered both Ghanian and Japanese accents and transform effortlessly. Interesting.
You've got a new fan here from the kingdom of Tonga. Wodemaya brought me to your. ABSOLUTELY loving your videos as I'm now on a marathon 😍😍

Much love from Botswana
i have no idea about Jollof, but i surely know that your grandmothers are rock stars!!!!!!😊😊😊
Learning from your beautiful grandma African cooking. Thanks
Love Grandma !
Hi am watching from Malaysia..new fan!! I love joluf rice .. have eaten Nigerian joluf rice ;4 and haven't try Ghanian joluf rice. Would love to try one day!!!
I'm just now finding your channel but I am quite mixed as well and I'm so happy to be able to find someone who is similarly mixed like I am! I am a mix of Ghanaian & Nigerian, I'm not Japanese but Vietnamese, and also British. I unfortunately though have never met my African side and have just missed out on so much culture, so its nice to see someone who is mixed and is involved & immersed in both their cultures.
I wish my curls were as pretty as yours, you're so beautiful!
Adorable grandma!
Yeeees I’ve been saying this about Ghanaian food for ages😂😂 being an international student I watch all other people from other countries leave the kitchen as I wait on my perpetually cooking pot of tomato stew
Lmao I am Nigerian and i hate cooking stew for this reason it takes long but you can't even rest because you have to monitor the tomato and keep stirring to prevent it from burning.
God bless you for such a great relationship you're having with your grandma.
Thanks for sharing your life experience with us, your much joy to watch.
Aye thumps up only ❤❤

lol going from your japanese gran to this is so trippy. your accent change is so cool.
Food looks amazing 💯
😍😍ジョロフ昨日食べました~!おばあちゃんのジョロフ美味しそうですね🤤💕
I love your grandma 😊😊
I'm pretty sure some Nigerians cook jollof exactly the way you cooked yours, I think jollof is more of a household thing than a country thing. I can cook mine in probably 4 different ways or more depending on time. In my house, under normal circumstances, I cook my rice with the fried spiced tomato stew stuff and with home-made meat (chicken, meat, any meat) stock as well. I just realized that, difference in our jollofs is not actually as deep as the internet has made it 😂😂
Oh please 😂 yes the internet exaggerates buh Ghana jollof is still better😚😌 🇬🇭🇳🇬🏳️
Thats true
Why is your nigerian jollof yellow and our jollof is red?
@@susuilu my when you talking about the colour of Jollof rice Nigerians are the best we dont have yellow jollof rice
@@susuilu our is red as well, the yellow one is fried rice :-)
You are a chef ei wéll done, God bless you all
If we ever have a meet and greet I’ll cool for you guys 😂😌💛
Craving for some jollof 😋
