It's because Retals is a good leader and hype man, FK is neither, no offense to him. Faze need a leader and or hype man but they don't have anyone like that which is why they always fall short.

All the talk on Retals (deservedly so) but AyyJayys comms have impressed me so much. He speaks up at clutch moments, constantly bigs up his teammates and just in general is very vocal. Alongside the fact he’s an absolutely incredible player, the fact he’s got amazing comms just adds to his calibre as a player. I probably sound incredibly bias and like an AyyJayy fanboy hahahaha, but I’m sure a lot of you agree with this!

Some seriously high IQ game sense on display by our boy Retals in game 7. Everyone popped off, but you showed why you're a serious contendor in this game. So many unbelievable and unexpected touches that put your team in a massive advantage. AJ and MB just had to be in the right place and its easy goals. This team maintains this creativity and aggression on the pitch and NA guna need to watch out.

Oh man, learning how the FK-disconnected goal happened because ayyjayy stopped playing seriously because FK was disconnected, and meanwhile the casters were saying something like "obviously the goal is going to count since FK's disconnection didn't have any effect on the play". This is exactly why we've heard Retals before say "keep playing seriously until there's a pause".
Funnily enough the frantic Retals comms in game 2 reminded me of the frantic Daniel comms last season
