Congratulations on a nice year of knitting. I’ve seen a lot of people say they’re knitting from stash. You are one of the few that is actually doing it! May need to reward yourself with a sweater you really want so it doesn’t become more work than joy. Hugs
Oh thank you! To be honest it hasn’t been a struggle for me this year - actually I’ve enjoyed to have a bit of a focus. I’m such a monogamous knitter that I can struggle to decide on a project as I know it’ll be the main thing I work on till it’s done so having the yarn picked has been helpful, which has surprised me!
But there’ll definitely be some projects this year that is relatively new to my stash and at no point will I instate a full ban as that’d definitely suck the joy out of it for me.

I always enjoy you look back episodes. I am also working on knitting for my stash but also knitting for my everyday life. One thing I have started doing is looking at the commercially made pieces I reach for the most and seeing if I can find patterns that mirror those same silhouettes or give the same vibe. I hope to make a video about it soon but life always gets in the way.
I think I have thought a lot more about what vibes something gives than I used to - it helps to think about each piece in that kind of context. Definitely knitting more of the right pieces now!

Love you knits! The colours and fit really suits you 🥰 I really admire your knitting goal of knitting from stash - one of my goals is also to mainly knit from stash, as I’ve some beautiful yarn which deserves to be knit up (and it’s a good way to save some money 😅). So I’m using Ravelry each month to track my stash to see how much yarn I’m using and how much my stash is decreasing by.
I need to recalculate from last year as I also used ravelry last year - hoping it will actually have decreased 🙈🤣 I love being able to keep track though!
