Always amazed on how deep into the line of play you guys think through. i dont know how many times i get halfway into my turn and end up regretting what i did at the start.

      Fionas are base 6000 power
      +1000 from climax
+2000 per 2 Anya brainstorm’s effect of giving a character that changed 1000 crossturn
+3000 from Bond’s effect of giving all other copies of the Anya brainstorm the effect of giving every other character 1500 power.
One bond and two anyas mean the Fionas get a massive 5000 power boost!

Is it 'possible' to adjust the greens just to tech in L1 twilight cost bomb without killing the b/y ratios that much?
I know 8 pants has an easier access for it, but I feel more comfort piloting Anya variant so I was wondering

There realistically is no room to comfortably fit enough green to have it as a secondary color at L1, without hurting the consistency of the decks main gamplans at either L1 or L2.

    Damage gobbled.
This set seems to have interesting things going on, though it didn't seem to make much of a splash in JP. Were there just too many other stronger sets pre-banlist or is it ultimately just not that strong?

It’s biggest weakness is that it loses to anything that can answer its board, and Chainsawman, overlord, and Slime were the most popular decks in that format. Looking forward in English those matchups are still an Achilles heel for this set, but it does has amazing matchups against generic 1k1 decks that cant contest its board.
Both the Anya and Loid variants have seen success but the English format has proven to be a very different game (Overlord, a set that was hit twice in Japan, has hardly any showing in English for example). So we’ll see if SpyxFamily can adapt to the upcoming Chainsawman and Trios format and show some results.

Have you guys ever tried the Killer Punch Training event (especially with the Anya build)? I've found myself really wishing I had hexproof on my Anyas and sometimes even on my Fionas, and the extra 1k power is nice too. It seems like the event package could be a little clunky, especially with the early play events already in the deck, but I'm curious to here your thoughts on it in general.

I have tested it in the past especially since the Anya climax swap grabs it, but I’m personally not a fan of the Anya early play package so I found no need to play the hexproof event in my other builds that run a traditional level 3 line.
It’s definitely a consideration for EP Anya builds but it adds another revolving piece to a deck already full of revolving pieces. It’s probably more wise to just side with Anya at level 2 if you’re afraid of antichange.

@@TressasCollectibles thanks for the input! I think I just came across some tough matchups recently where the hexproof would have been really nice, but I completely agree that there's already a lot to keep track of with this deck and adding more events and pieces that rely on each other to work seems like it would really hinder the deck's consistency.

Thanks for posting this match. I ordered a Spy x Family playset that's coming in today, so my excitement doubled when I saw y'all post this today.
I really enjoyed hearing both of your thought process on how to attack each other with Fiona's on board. I agree with the sentiment that she really makes players think more about the attack process, especially with her defensive top checks and also considering her first attack and deck state, since the marker will be in waiting room.
Also thank you Mike for showing the play with the clock kick Loid at the end of video against something like cost 0 Chainsaw Man. It was super helpful, as I was pretty iffy on that card being at level 1.
Great job on this video and excited for future Spy x Family content :)
