Hope you enjoy Dredd (and Chopper) in action. Credits in Description. Who should I do next? I was thinking about doing Rogue Trooper (although I've had some requests to do Judge Anderson and the Dark Judges....) what 2000AD characters are your favourites? Strontium Dog, The VCs, Mean Arena? What's your fav 2000AD story BTW - always looking for some good audio guys / modellers who are open to collabs!
@@stehenlambert TBH the reason for doing another Judge-themed one would be because the character models/uniforms can be reused so it wouldn't take as long as starting something fresh like say Slaine. Which is also why Rogue Trooper is attractive from a production standpoint - you pretty much have rogue (or clones) and some Nort soldiers which kinda can be the same model as well. Not sure yet though... I'll def want to get round to Johhny Alpha and Wulf one day - maybe when I get better at this stuff! The Gronk would be interesting to model and animate
@@Letskeepbodybuildingclassic As much as I love Slaine artwork by Bizley - I'm ashamed to admit that I didn't follow the story as much as others. I think to do it justice it would be quite a mega project (gosh I'm seeing a lot of Dredd puns in stuff i write!). I was thinking of doing some Frazetta-esque stuff (altho originally Conan) which Slaine can almost be considered tho? Not sure.... maybe as an animated 3D diorama to begin with?
Busted! I actually thought about it but I kept on delaying stuff to add bits and bobs and felt I had to draw the line somewhere otherwise I'd actually never finish it. So jeapordising Marlon's safety was it! 😂
Hey I just checked out your channel. Love your megacity stuff! A lot more true to the original buildings than my effort (which TBH is a bunch of marketplace assets chucked in as placeholders!) Is it in unreal?
you are absolutely right. Well - the Karl Urban one did and I nicked some stuff from there. I'd love to say that this is my interpretation of MC1 but TBH I first wanted to do the crazy architecture of early MC1 but there's only so much I could do with limited time and resources - unfortunately I didn't really have time to model and texture buildings so relied on an asset pack. next one I'll get some round buildings in! If you have some building models or know anyone who will share theirs - that would help immensely. I kinda saw this as a video test that I got carried away with.
@@mrhmakes I'm referring to the late 70s-mid 80s 2000AD comics. The buildings aren't square, or round. They have a unique look. 1995's Judge Dredd is closer to the originals, but it doesn't really capture the style.
@@expected707 yup - i'm familiar with the look of that time - "round" was just my shorthand for saying "not square". Perhaps i should have said "more rounded" or "eclectically unique" :) next time I'll be able to spend more time on the buildings. Def a priority!

Anderson and the dark judges would be good but how about Strontium Dog or Slaine.
Oh I know do me lol 😂
Slaine please!

@@mrhmakes TEST . Don't know what's been going on evertime i try to comment here my text vanishes
@@bumfieI see this. Altho I got errors and had to hit reply a couple of times.... Weird
Makes me wish that Rebellion would develop a new Judge Dredd game..with Karl Urban voicing and doing mo-cap
This is amazing! I’m sharing it everywhere!
Please do!
Good work lad.

Brilliant !

Mega City 1 doesn't have square buildings.
