I have over 130 million SL and I am preparing to spend several million on the several dozen vehicles I unlocked over the prior 12 months, as soon as the half price sale starts in early November.

@@invictusmaneo4587 Don't confuse the cart with the horse. Doing that is the reason I can afford to buy them several times over. I'm 58, retired and I have been playing War Thunder for over 10 years. I learned to play the long game a *_long_* time ago. Last year I spent 16 million buying everything I researched over the previous 12 months. The year before that, it was close to 24 million. I never 'grind' anything. I get my war bonds every day and retire.
I have to say that since the last economy update, with sl being added to your repair cost per minute of survival, gave people who dont pay for premium account a very good chance to "survive" the games economy. I for example play decent top tier ground rb battles with a average kill to death ratio and get 3 times more sl back, than i have to pay. Well done gaijin and nice video Tankenstein!
As of today I just hit 50 million SL! Hope to get 100 mil SL by next year! Been grinding a lot majority with my Yak-141 and MiG-29SMT planes!
To be honest, this video was much less helpful than most the ones you put out. Someone looking up a silver lions guide is unlikely to do so because they needed to know you can spend them on buying new tanks. They want to learn the best ways to earn them and not just... "Kill stuff and use boosters". What tier and mode is best to grind at? What premium vehicles in particular are good for it? Is it more efficient to bomb in RA, or dogfight in quick AA matches? What about doing assault arcade and at what BR? And so on.
I got the b7a2 premium from the battlrpass and it is a pretty good sl grinder. You get 4k sl from dropping the 800kg bomb on a base and around 9k sl per kill.

@@darugdawg2453 maybe but you also get to add boosters on top, a premium to grind ALL the props in japanese tree and if you are skilled, the money racks up fast.
Wagers are also a way of earning SL. Many of them are "useless" and very hard but there are some wagers that are possible to fulfill.

@@LuMarts4 you should try to play Heli PvE you get tons of SL and it’s not per kill you gain like 35k about every 15 minutes

I have never spent a single cent on this game and I have 3.4 million SL with my only premium vehicles being the DB-7, D.371 and the pansarbil m/40. I got these silver lions by avoiding repair costs (i.e. not paying for the repairs), using 10 kill wagers and victory wagers and a fuckton of seal clubbing with the pansarbil m/40.
3.4m its like not enough to buy and promote m1a2 crew
@@darugdawg2453 true (assuming the price of everything that needs to be researched and purchased prior to unlocking the M1A2 Abrams is included), but thankfully I can still keep earning more SL.
Speaking of grind, especially at this time of year, there are HUGE sales, usually 50% SL sale over the board, at Gaijins birthday. So you might as well save some SL to spend it then.
I personally am grinding the Gepard right now, just grinded ~700k and I'm waiting for the sale to buy the Gepard and Alouette and some more planes I haven't had the chance to buy.
I also got more than 50 millions SL on this game. Impossible to spent it all. Purchase all unlock vehicle but u earn 3 time the SL u need to buy and aircraft/tank before u have enough RP to unlock it...

Back to the basics! I’m down for an advanced course
A good way to save SL is to turn off auto repair. Instead of thoughtlessly losing 4k SL to autorepair, maybe you wait and go play another lineup or nation. Check back in a few hours and see how much less your repair cost is. Ive waited several days between playing some vehicles because I'm waiting for repair cost to go down a bit
thats not very efficient. if i keep changing vehicles i also got to adjust my playstyle not to mention i usually play to grind rp

Do a premium ship and prem account. You can make easy 200k+ within 1 game.
I barely even know how to play naval, it is so confusing and I literally never got a kill in it except for one tiny little boat
I play warthunder 4-5 hours everyday I have premium and I play only tiger2h16sla (premium) do335 b2 and FW190 D13
I earn 2 million sl everyday and only reason I'm collecting that much money is I want to open 60.000 sl worth boxes so MAYBE ill get a sdkfz pak wagon (234/4) or (234/3) I play Germany
You forgot that with wagers you earn an insane amount of money in just a couple matches
most wagers are difficult af tho
The only wager rlly worth using is the victory wager, and the thunderer/anti mech wager

I would love to learn better ways to grind aircraft! I LOVE ground real, but it takes time to grind. Air real seems a little broken and very time consuming ...or extremely short....and Air arcade seems quite insulting to the designers, aircraft and assisted flight in gerneral. ( i should not be able to use my undercarriage and flaps to slow down at 800 km...any advice Sage Tankenstein?

Is so disappointing that still after the backlash and the 1000 changes gaijin did we still have to get two kills with some vehicles just to break even and we arent playing to break even. Its like gaijin dosent value our time and doesnet care about us after they get our money.

For each rank of modification you totally researched you have à RP bonus for the current vehicle you are researching in the tech tree. This feature is in the game since à while but its just showed on this screen since the last update.

That's not that much, and it's pure luck too. You can log in for 100 days and still get bupkis.

An easy way to make credits is when you have a lot of bombers unlocked, you basically take them out 1 by 1 without repairing them. Each game will bring in 20k, do 5 games that's 100k. You can probably do that in 1 hour.
Playing lower tiers is a sure way to make credits, like tier 3 or so.
Broke. Games harsh for the guys that can't grind or pay for premium.

Then you do it all again because today was just a bad day... and so is the next... and the next... and the... and before you know it five years have gone by, and you now have 1500 hours in Ranks IV/V alone. You have no event vehicles because of the
Several months later, you get seduced back in by the UA-camrs, and on your first rusty match you get top of team in a winning battle with an active 600% SL booster that you got earlier. YAY!!! You start another game. There you are in the latter half of the match, at spawn in your Wirbelwind, you see the fleeing Pe-8 that nuked you seconds before. He comes back after rearming, flying at the edge of your practical range. You line up a very far-lead trajectory and manage to instantly clip his wing off with the first burst. "YES I AM A GOD!!!" you say. Thirty seconds to a minute pass, and there are two more Pe-8s side by side in the exact same flight path as the first. Remembering the old lead, you line up and again, instantly clip off one's wing. Wasting no time, you switch to the other one, clipping off a wing tip and setting fire to everything burnable on that side of the plane before having to reload. You've reloaded, but the damaged bomber is out of sight but should crash any second. 3... 2... 1...... nothing, no explosions, no "Enemy Kill Assist" or "Aircraft Destroyed". Despite the confusion, the dopamine level keeps you aware and you spot a tank, but there's a problem, it's driving into the sky? Then you see it, the red text of death "CONNECTION TO SERVER LOST". Following the standard protocol of staying still and waiting fails, and you are kicked to the menu. You relaunch the game to see if you can rejoin... Nope, not happening... As you stare deeper and deeper into the screen, your soul leaves your body as you realize that the rewards and replay didn't transfer either... You close the game and then go back into the hermit box of anime... never to be seen again...

Sales events are coming up in November and December.
T-55AM is far better at researching. You get stabilizer, darts, gun-launched ATGMs and a heavy MG.
Uptiers will be murder on the IS-6. T-55AM-1 can handle itself in uptiers better
