This was a recent conflict with my wife. I got upset as it seemed she was trying to keep a recent issue with one our children from me. I might be seeing this more clearly now.... "the fixer in me" is very reactive. I probably need to be less reactive and more responsive.
I think I might need some dialog on this with my wife.

lol! Larry, hopefully you are not intentionally doing anything that would cause your spouse to want you dead. If you’re equally yoked and focused on pleasing God, your spouse will be pleased by default.
Also, should you make a mistake, your spouse should have compassion and forgiveness for you.
