Fun fact: When it comes time to clean the steering wheel, besides using a good quality cleaner, any sort of soft bristle shoe brush like from Crep will work wonders.

Great tip! I actually use a toothbrush and Sonax for my shift knob. (if my old toothbrush was good enough for my teeth its good nuff for the car :)

I have the same steering wheel and alcantara feels great while driving.
Only issue I’m facing is centre red leather is starting to chip.. this is the 2nd steering wheel.
Might not be an issue for you, it might be the way I drive 😊

why would you need to get a wheel alignment? Because of the new steering wheel? My car is perfectly aligned rn but I got the same steering wheel im about to replace it with

I don't think every car will need an alignment, BUT... when I put mine on and drove up the street the center stripe on the wheel was always off. and i must have taken that wheel on and off 8-9 times trying correct that.
Then I went on the website and it said something like, you may need an alignment.
so next day I took it over to the shop and the guys gave me a look and said, "thats weird" but they aligned it and now it drives, looks and feels great.
so just in case, be ready for it.
