    I bought the pro-max 6" 350W polishing machine from these guys recently and after trying it out its very good, hardly any vibration, not very noisy and powerful enough to do engine casings, nuts/bolts etc. It comes with easy to follow instructions on how to use as a polisher, what the different compounds are good for and a 2 year guarantee. Overall very impressed and would recommend this machine.

    The best part of this video for me is the way to put the mop head onto the spindle, I was having trouble as a new bee attaching my one..many thanks for that, I can adapt your advice for my hand made jewellery items . cheers

    WOW --- your saftey glasses blend in very well. It's just like you haven't got any on.

    You didn't mention to clean the piece before using it on a different mop head and compound so you don't cross contaminate the mops with different compounds

    great presentation, however you forgot the most important part. Safety goggles to protect your eyes from flying chunks of plastic when the centre core of the mop disintegrates and flys off into your face.

    Since does being a professional exclude one from using safety gear? Especially trying to polish a small sharp piece of metal on a rather large wheel.

    Nice quick informal demo, which of your polishing kits is recommended for getting started aluminum polishing? with my draper 370w bench grinder.

      +alimacdee Assuming that your Draper 370w has a standard 1/2" shaft on it, then our BGNF-6002, Pro-Max Bench Grinder Aluminium 9pc Metal Polishing Kit, would be most suitable. This comes with 6" x 1" polishing wheels and the necessary compounds to polish aluminium to a high finish. This can be found & purchased from our website here:

    I'm considering buying your kit to polish a matte stainless finish firearm to bright stainless polish. Would your kit work for that? Would the jewelry kit be more appropriate? I REALLY don't want to screw up this project. It's a 1K gun!

    Are the spindle adapters absolutely necessary to turn bench grinders into buffers? I'm going to get a bench grinder for buffing soon, and I've always thought that as long as you get buffing wheels with the same diameter arbour as the shaft, you'd have no problem.

      Hi, no you do not need to have spindle adapters however the advantage of having the spindle adapters is that you will have more space from the side of the machine to be able to move around and be able to polish larger items. Hope this helps.

      +jason long why are you worrying about it, mind yourself. just because you aren't coordinated and get injured easy doesn't mean everyone else is unsafe

    • @KarKraftsman
      @KarKraftsman 8 років тому +7

      +curtis jarembek Curtis Im not worried about it really, if your dumb ass wants a machine spinning at 2500 rpm flinging everything everywhere that's fine. In America we have ppl that will come give you fine for being that stupid.

    • @KarKraftsman
      @KarKraftsman 8 років тому +4

      So youre agreeing with me this man is stupid for not wearing gloves, eye protection, and a breathing filter right? Or did you want to take a cheap shot at American tyranny?

      Please forgive my attempt at light hearted humour(I couldn't resist it). But what I am trying to say is, if you dress a fool in all the regulation safety gear and let him operate man-mangling-machinery then it is almost inevitable that he will suffer some permanent physical alteration. Likewise if you have a professional time served operator doing the same task, then he will be able to perform that task until he dies of old age.
      Is it the safety gear that makes us safe or our operating practices, experience and skill?
      Personally, I wear all the gear that I need to in a given task.

    • @KarKraftsman
      @KarKraftsman 8 років тому +12

      Trust me, if it wasn't for American Government regulation, Id have a successful growing business in the auto restoration field. I understand the reason for safety gear but I think I can determine the level of safety for the job. I do believe in Darwinism and think that all warning labels should be removed for the guarantied progression of human intelligence.
