    I dont know if i understood this correct let me know if i am wrong. When you tap with your right leg your horse should pick up the right lead and vice versa with the left leg?

      Correct. Once a foundation is laid, and they become responsive, then by tapping each side, the horse should change leads.

    I Will never understand this. How is the leading leg not determined by when you start watching it?

      It's Not the leg that strikes first, it's the lead that strikes furthest.
