Helpful tip: always aim for lungs and heart. Aiming at skeleton and head as well as spine and legs damage for score and costs extra to taxidermize. I love your channels.
3 years later yet I still can watch this series multiple times. You know it’s a good UA-camr and game if you still enjoy watching the whole series multiple times.
I've been playing this on console for a while now .. and it always gets me when I see a new player starts these endless adventures ahead .. have fun .. looking forward to the next episode
YES THANK YOUU SOOOOO MUCHHHHH TREVOR, I AM SO GLAD WE RECOMMENDED THIS GAME TO YOU, IVE PLAYED IT AND HAVE ENJOYED THE GAME, YOU WONT REGRET THIS DECISION OF PLAYING IT, HOPEFULLY THIS BECOMES A SERIES, LOVE YOOOOUUUUUU TREVORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Love this. I was just thinking that hunting simulator 2 was just a worse version of this. Biggest tip I have as someone who’s just been playing for a couple weeks is always be looking for places for tents. They give you that important other fast travel point because with the way the outposts are placed you’ll be doing a lot of walking without some good tents.
Thank you for playing this, Trevor! Love this game and played it for 157 hours so far haha I have a few tips for you to make it easier though! While crouched you can either move at a slow pace or "sprint", just crouch down and "sprint" through the grass and tall grass, when you get to a tree line, turn off "sprint"! You will make a lot less sound, as when you would be standing and walking through trees. This will enable you to even walk into a group of animals up until about 75-50 metres :) Also keep the start rifle with the FREE bullets for as long as possible, use it as much as possible, except for when you are hunting bigger ( or smaller ) animals then a doe or deer. Getting new guns and cash can take a while, and using different bullets for the starting gun will diminish your cash stack! Good luck and happy hunting!
Tmartin, I would love this to be a series. This is my favorite game. Helpful tip, Each animal is a different weapon class therefore you need a specific weapon for different animals
I've been playing this from the day it came out! Fell in love with it instantly! Can be tough, but the rewarding feelings after the bullet hits the target is priceless!👌🏼😊
Yesssss. I’ve been playing this game for 3 years. taxidermize is what you do when you want to put an animal into your hunting lodge! You’re biggest help within the game will be the Codex on the in game menu. Will tell you everything you need to know about every animal. 👌 good luck. I’m so excited to watch this.
Love this game. A tip for you, especially if you plan on using a bow, don't underestimate the ability to hide withing the branches of trees. It concealed you more from being seen.
Haven't even watched this but I've been playing this for a year now and its amazing. Just do whatever you want to do. Don't really worry about missions, they give you good money but the high scoring animals you get from them don't count on the stats. Just do whatever you enjoy.
i believe there are always a handful of deer at the starting spawn to facilitate quick completion of the first quest. at least there always have been in my experience. and purple map means the area has been disturbed or pressured.
bro I have played this game and I have an advice for ya look out for resting, food/water zones and camp their animal will eventually get there, use scent eliminator and always crouch or prone and use the bleat or callers and only use crossbows/bows or sniper rifles only no shotgun etc.
Always have the wind blowing in your face, look for leaves and other flying debris, they should be "flying in your face". Also, crouch walk. don't run, always walk or crouch walk. When tracking, look for droppings, they will tell you how long ago/how recent the tracks are. So, basically, stay low, walk slow, wind in your face.
Purple areas on the map is hunting pressure, animals will avoid these areas! Hunting pressure will go away after time! Thanks for playing this game!!!!
Bro this guy is so good at games I just started watching him and when I first started playing Call Of The Wild I barely got any animals. One whitetail deer and that's it. Well done! 😮
This is my go to chill out game. I freaking love this game. The mechanics are solid, the hunting is rather easy once you learn the need zones of every animal. I just stick to drink zones mostly. Why? Because drink zones are always around water, whereas resting and feeding zones can be anywhere in the woods. I look up on the forums what time an animal I want to hunt drinks at, set the time and head to water and go hunting. Its easy and a ton of fun.
Patience is key, animals can hear you from agesss away. And aim for vitals. Try to learn where the 1 shot areas are for different animals . Excited for the series !
I freaking love this game please make this a forever series and try to get a diamond of each species please you will love this game if you put the time into it
I would love this as a series. Few tips: 1. Your moving too much already. You need to find a hillside that looks down into a valley or open plains and you need to glass (use binoculars)for animals. Then you can start moving in quietly. 2. It is a really slow game. You need to have patience. It is literally the most realistic hunting game out there. 3. There are rest areas, feeding areas, and drinking areas that certain animals will be at during specific times of the day. Easiest solution is to go find a lake and scout around it. 4. Go to the outposts. You can claim them. Once you have more than one, you can start fast traveling in between them. Also, you can get your atv from the cabin but they make tons of noise. 5. Complete the missions. It teaches you stuff and helps you level up quicker so you can unlock skills and perks. 6. Go into the game settings and change the tracking color to something else: that way you can tell what your actively tracking versus other tracks. Make it a series! Would love to watch you learn and get better! Watch flinter on UA-cam. That will help tons!
I love this game. I have it on PS4 and saw a streamer play it a few years ago and joined him in game. We had a blast. I got my friend who hunts to play it. He loves it and said this is pretty realistic for a hunting game. I am excited to watch your series on this. I Just started playing this game after about a year of not playing it. Enjoy the game Trevor.
I love if this was a series I like it so far and love your videos tmartn2 please do not cwit you tube keep the good work up and have a good day or night tmartn2 😃👍
LOVEEEEEE IT !!!!! i have 1.400 hrs gameplay in this game. if you have any question, need any tips, feel free and ask. first tip: you can start your map as multplayer and invite your patreons for a session.
As a veteran of this game I have a couple of tips: 1.there are many different animals and special animal types like albino 2.complete missions for easy money and xp. 3.aim for the head
Just a heads up. Hirschfelden has a small island in the East that has a shooting range to really figure out the various weapons. I usually have 3 rifles (270,7mm and air rifle or 223), a shotgun, a handgun with deer, moose and predator callers. Works for most maps, or you could just grab the Mosin. I normally end up stumbling into bears so the handgun is really useful. Also hit the middle mouse wheel to detach or attach your scope/sight. Useful for those snapshots or close encounters.
The squeaky call is for roe deer, which is only in Hirshfelden. They “screaming” call is more for predators like coyotes and foxes. Goose hunting would be a good episode. Also, the M1 Garand is a great weapon
Going around an bumping up some of these videos as I watch. This game is going to be free on Epic games this week. So anyone on the fence make sure to pick it up.
Cool that your playing this. I've been playing this game since it came out and I think it's the best hunting game. I will hold my hands up and say I do not or never have hunted in real life so I can't say for sure how actually accurate it is to the real experience. I just like this game.
I got this for only 12 bucks today on sale, its realistic if you hang out between the lake and where the black tails feed you can get a ton of them right at the start, good game.
I know we were playing Hunting Simulator 2.... but this is WAY better in my opinion. Let me know what you think!
I agree
Yes
I think this has a much better 'story's looking forward to this series.
Yes way better
I never thought hunting games would be so awesome!

When your map starts getting purple all that means basically that you killed a animal. And it means that there is hunting pressure.
You also have a lot a lot of likes
how to make it become normal again?
@@kjyong2985 you have to shoot animals in different parts of the map so it disappears on other parts of the map.
@@Cotw. ok ty sir
No brain shots!! You’ll be dinged for that because it ruins the “trophy organ”
This helps a lot I got that game yesterday and I shoot does in the face but bucks in the heart and or lungs
Thank you some one that actually knows how to hunt thanks I hunt myself also I shoot deer and stuff behind the front shoulder
I always aim for heart
Fishing With ME which is behind the front shoulder but nice have a great day
