Su was asked in an interview this year 2024 about the most important times in her Babymetal life. This was the first thing she said....what a day this was for them and for us.
It's crazy to think this is their first big crowd outside of Japan, which is most of them don't even know who they are, but these girls and the Kami Band totally nailed it and won over the crowds.
Nice! This was the show that "won the west" for Babymetal haha. First time on a major international stage, and not that well known at all internationally at that time. And, their first time infront of 50K true UK metal heads (Iron Maiden was headlining that day). All this without most of the fans even understanding the lyrics. I encourage you guys to check out the lyrics to this song too. It has a very deep meaning about anti-bullying. 🤘🦊
I never cease to be amazed and mesmerized by Babymetal. This is 2014 so the girls are-I believe-16, 14&14. This is their first time playing outside of Japan. They are singing in Japanese in front of 55,000 potentially disagreeable English metal heads. And they are just crushing it. I do not think I'll ever tire of the wonder that is Babymetal.
It's a shame that requesters don't give the relevant background info for each performance. Knowing the significance of this performance makes it a much better experience.
Great reaction and choice of performance for this song. IDZ (ee-jee-meh dah-meh zet-tah-ee) means Bullying, No More, For Ever. It was only the second song they ever performed live ... its release was held back until after a couple more 'non-conventional' songs. This was the moment they announced their arrival in the west and felt they were being accepted by the metal world. Probably 95-97% of that crowd (50-60,000 UK metalheads) didn't have a clue who or what BABYMETAL were 30 minutes earlier. Most were fans by the end of that 30 minutes and I'm sure you heard them calling for "One more song". Sonisphere 2014 was their very first time in the UK and their first major event outside of Asia - they did two small shows in Paris and Cologne a few days before this where Yui and Moa celebrated their 15th birthdays. Su-metal was 16. They were originally booked to play a small side stage or tent at Sonisphere Festival in front of maybe a couple of thousand people, but their video for their song 'Gimme Chocolate' had gone viral and they were attracting attention - they also had a show booked in London for a couple of days later that had to be moved to a bigger venue as the tickets had sold out so fast - so the organisers moved them to the main stage with just a couple of months notice. Some small minded idiots who had seen 30 seconds of the 'Gimme Chocolate' video and (mistakenly) made up their minds BABYMETAL must be some sort of money making gimmick band weren't happy that they were playing at Sonisphere, they were even more upset to hear they would be on the main stage and they posted threats on social media of urine bottles being thrown and booing them off stage, but the vast majority of the people there didn't have a clue who they were. From back stage the girls couldn't see the crowd and were worried nobody had come to see them and what they should do if there was nobody there - they walked on stage to see a sea of puzzled faces - hairy, tattooed metalheads (the typical UK crowd) wondering why three little Japanese girls in red tutus were on stage at one of the biggest metal festivals. I believe Su has said that as they walked on and saw all the puzzled faces she thought to herself "This will be fun. Let's knock it out of the park." IDZ was the last song of their 25-30 minute set, the crowd had warmed to them by this time. They played just 5 songs and the crowd were wanting more and calling for "one more song" at the end. They gained a whole lot of new fans that day. They had the biggest mosh pits of the whole weekend and their merch outsold every other band playing there (including big names like Slayer, Anthrax, Iron Maiden and Metallica). They have spoken in interviews (even as recently as an interview at Download) about how they consider this one of their biggest milestones and it being the moment they felt accepted by the metal community and really began to believe their music could break the language and other barriers. Su-metal has described how the sea of puzzled faces they saw as they walked on stage changed to smiles as their set went on and how it went from just the front few rows jumping and joining in and looked like a wave running back through the crowd from front to back as more and more people followed suit. The Kami Band here (and yes they do get all the praise they want) Mikio Fujioka (RIP), Leda Cygnus, BOH and Hideki Aoyama. BABYMETAL have brought their big production out of Japan twice so far - Wembley Arena in 2016 (they broke all the merch sales records there) and the LA Forum in 2019.
_Kitsune tobe!_ 🦊🤘🙅♂️ In multiple interviews, such recently at Download Festival, they said they will always remember Sonisphere Festival and the crowd and how they inject on them a huge boost of confidence on what they're doing, that was definitely the miracle of Sonisphere.🦊🤘🔥
I have easily seen this performance 100s of times and EVERYTIME it makes me tear up a little. I have such a huge proud dad feeling seeing these 3 girls conquer that crowd. As others have said. This was a big big important day in BABYMETAL history. Seeing the smiles on your face the entire time really shows how much you enjoyed this. And don't worry, we love the Kami Band. I wish we could see their faces again. They did build the same type of stage in the LA Forum back in 2019 I believe. The same type of stage seen in the Pa Pa Ya video. 🤘🦊🤘
For me, this is their biggest stepping stone to their careers. Yeah, Tokyo Dome with 55,000 on each night for two days was great but for an international level. This is it.
Great reaction, guys , BabyMetal is the first Japanese act to perform at Wembley Arena( not stadium) in 2016 with a full show and performed at the LA Forum in 2019 full show moving stage and all the screens lazers ect . You can get both shows on DVD and Blu-ray their great shows 😁 🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
Good one, thanks! We usually refer to the song as "IDZ" (it's easier, I guess). This performance is iconic and a very important piece in their history. Even Su has mentioned it several times in interviews for being the moment they felt accepted by the metal community (although there are a few that don't understand it even today). This was their first performance in the UK (actually their first "big" stage outside Japan) and that was a massive festival with 50.000+ metalheads most of which never heard about BABYMETAL before. The organizers moved them to the main stage several weeks before thanks to the online buzz. And they actually were worried that no one would show up. The result? Leaving the stage while the crowd were chanting "we want more!". They also sold more merch than any other band that weekend (including Iron Maiden, Metallica, Anthrax, Dream Theater, Slayer...). That is what I call an epic win. I promise that the Kami Band members get the credit they deserve from our side as fans... despite they are always kept kinda anonymous wearing face paint or masks and recently hidden behind some elevated section of the stage that we deeply dislike. 🤨 They rarely perform "IDZ" live today. I traveled 400 miles each way just for the possibility that they did. It was totally worth it. 😁 🤘🦊
Su mentioned this concert again recently in an interview. This was probably the concert they feel the most attached to in their whole history, still today.
My favorite. This song's message is so strong and has a line that I absolutly love: "Sometimes you get hurt, sometimes you hurt someone, and then, we all end badly hurt". Also is a very important performance for the girls. Even in one of the last interviews, Su-Metal mentioned this performance as something she will always remember because of how people were confused at the beginning of the concert, but once they finished this song, everyone chanted "we want more!" as you can hear at the video. Kitsune da o! 🦊
There are many back stories to this show. One of my favourites is from Su. She was back stage looking at the audience and thought some of the blokes looked scary. Can you imagine being 16 years old and walking out on to this stage? During the show, she spotted some of the same scary guys dancing. I can't remember if they were copying Moa and Yui's moves but it made Su feel good.
Right? And people used to say they “aren’t metal.” There is NOTHING more metal than being a literal child, stepping out onto a stage of potentially angry/confused Brits, and not only winning them over in spades, but CRUSHING IT🙂🤘 (and props to that crowd for just being so awesomely open minded, since the girls were warned they might not be, and to even watch out for thrown water bottles.),
👍👍An awesome powerful performance at a young age. Song has a great message. Su commented in a recent interview that this was a very memorable performance for her. 🦊🦊🦊 🖖❤
Ah yes. The Miracle at Sonisphere. Coincidentally also the very first time I saw Babymetal video and found myself in the Foxhole. Since you mentioned the Kami Band.... their role in the Miracle is often overlooked. They did a soundcheck/equipment check before the show formally started and they basically did a series of mini-solos that were so hard rocking it definitely warmed up the crowd to what was coming. There are a couple of videos on YT where someone recorded that soundcheck. If it comes to seeing that, just note the crowd response.
Babymetal as a group have just gotten better and better over the years. They started as a cute idol type group, and now after so many years they are a trio of nearly perfect musicians and performers. As you have noted basically everything they do is so professional and perfect. With that being said, you REALLY need to make a video on some of their collabs they have done in the last few years. Their song with Bring me the horizon is amazing. Their new song with Electric Callboy is basically perfection too. You should watch BMTH's live video of their collab. The thing I love about these collabs they do as it seems like they open up a bit in a way, you see them smiling and having fun compared to their stone cold professionalism! OH and by the way, since you are doing Japanese rock you would be doing yourself a disservice if you don't watch the live performance of Unravel by Ado. She's a Japanese singer who has blown up to be one of Japan's greatest talents. Her version of the song Unravel from the anime Tokyo Ghoul is beautiful and haunting. She like Baby metal, is one of the few artist who are genuinely better live than in their studio recordings. Please check these out, you wont regret it.
The closet full production set they brought over from JAPAN was the FORUM in LA. sold out both nights during their METAL GALAXY US tour. In 2019 i believe.
Y'all found my favorite Babymetal song, and one of the coolest performances of their career, the Miracle at Sonisphere! What a powerful message the world needs to hear and who better to deliver it than some powerful young ladies? ❤❤
The moment BABYMETAL took over the world! The usually hostile British crowd at a festival shouting "We want more" after the last song (this one). BABYMETAL made it, they were the talk of that festival and their merch sold out quicker than anyone else. It's said there was about 550000-65000 people in the crowd to see them,
whats great about this is its their first performance outside japan (i think?) and they were meant to be on a smaller side stage then found out that suddenly they were bumped to the main stage and had to adapt. su was like "i thought they were gonna laugh at us". if you get the chance to watch the whole set its a great 30 min. you can see the moment on their faces when the crowd went from standing their w their arms crossed to being totally won over and shouting one more song as they left.
@@tinaT-g2p Singapore in 2012 was followed by Indonesia and Singapore in 2013, and the European tour that included Sonisphere on July 7th, 2014 also had concerts in Paris and Cologne, Germany in the days leading up to it. For the Paris show, Yui took over the lead vocals on 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!' to celebrate her fifteenth birthday, and Moa did the same thing during the show in Germany.
You guys just picked the right video this time, this was the beginning of the western conquer. Yui and Moa didn't have age to even be in this festival ,and they catch the hearts of a critical and non easy crowd. 🤘🦊
Su-Metal waving to the crowd at the end really gets me, one of the best single moments for her and the band (she brings it up on interviews when asked too) If you're interested in seeing peak Babymetal musical layering, check out "Tale of the Destinies" live - only performed live once, so much to it. **EDIT -->** also, i'm pretty sure their Wembley show in the UK was really close to full Japan production, "Amore" from that concert is a favorite of mine.
One can tell the nervousness but also the determination in the girls' faces during this performance. It's an unforgettable moment for them. People really do know Kami Band though. There are performances where the band actually gets to show off themselves. Kami Band and BABYMETAL are technically separate entities but I think the fanbase feels like they're inseparable. Like, the sudden passing of Mikio, one of the members of Kami Band, was a tragedy for the BABYMETAL fanbase as a whole. The song Starlight always reminds me of Mikio because he supposedly had an accidental fall while stargazing in an observatory. Not sure if you guys have reacted to Starlight yet. But if you haven't, I recommend it.
BabyMetal is so much more than music - jump into the foxhole and learn all about them - i guarantee you'll see these girls as your own children - YuiMetal 🦊 will never be forgotten
So, the short answer about BABYMETAL bringing their full production/full set piece show to a show outside of Japan is...sort of. The example that leaps to mind is their 2019 show at The Forum in Los Angeles. That show didn't have ALL of the bells and whistles of something like their Tokyo Dome shows, but it did have their huge LED screen behind them, some light show elements, and their moving elevated stage. That show is available on Blu-Ray by the way (as are many other BABYMETAL shows.) They have also done some high profile shows with more production elements at other famous venues, such as Wembley Arena in London, UK. And, by the way, I have been wishing for many years that we has convenience stores here in the US like they have in Japan - there's no comparison between their 7-11s and ours for example, theirs are just WAY better. As you mentioned, a 7-11 there offers a wide variety of excellent pre-made meals, and many locations provide many other products and services that are unheard of here. I've traveled a couple of times in Japan, each time for about a month, and I was completely impressed with a number of things. Their public transportation system is the best in the world, there is amazing (and largely healthy) food everywhere, the cities are clean, and they have vending machines everywhere, even in more rural areas, that sell damn near anything you can think of. In terms of music, Japan's music scene is the best in the world, has some of the most killer venues, and Japanese audiences just blow everyone else away with their level of participation and fandom. If you ever get the chance to see an arena show there, do it. For me personally, another thing I really dug about Japan was the fact that cash was the primary form of payment for restaurants, retailers, and vending machines - quick and easy. Although, that now may be changing because Japan will soon be releasing new bills for their official currency, and this will be causing logistical problems for some vendors - particularly for vending machine companies and companies using automated cash payment for things, as they either can't afford new money readers in their machines or won't have access to new readers for a while.
The kami band does get credit.. but let's be honest.. It's about the girls as we ve seen with Electric Callboy, F Hero Bodyslam, Bring Me the Horizon, the fact the band behind Babymetal changes so much.. you can hear and watch amazing instrument play with a thousand other bands. That's why when people watch or hear Babymetal it may seem like they aren't talking about the band much.. but that's because it doesn't matter who's playing behind them. The girls make it amazing.
I'm sure everyone has been to a music festival or two. and i know you've seen some bands get booed of the stage yet BABYMETAL has never ever since they started in 2010 been booed of stage.
Thanks for that lads, This was the 1st time BM were outside Asia, they had been promoted to the main stage and at the beginning of the show most of the 60000 plus British fans had no idea who (or what) they were. this is a very recent interview with the girls and it's this show Su is talking about still 10 years later. ua-cam.com/video/8afBfaAEsLk/v-deo.html 🤘🤘🤘🦊🦊🦊
This was Sonisphere 2014. BABYMETAL's first ever music festival outside of JAPAN. They had the crowd begging for more at the end of this song. If you would like i have the full music set from this concert. ua-cam.com/video/Ro-_cbfdrYE/v-deo.htmlsi=E0-EP-r05HeYlA04
The Kami Band gets a ton of respect from fans. BOH is the bald bassist that will always match the energy of the girls and the crowd. For example, they performed Karate during this performance and BOH was jumping with the crowd and the girls. Hideki always kills it on drums and there are so many drummers that admire his work whenever they react to performances he was in. One of the guitarists, Mikio, was known for always smiling. He looked so friendly and he was. Sadly, he passed away from a stargazing accident in 2018 and it was a big hit to all Babymetal fans at the time. It is believed that the song ‘Shine’ is dedicated to him and possibly Yui. The band is admired just as much as the girls in the Babymetal community.
👍 👍 No doubt you are being given great information on how historic this Festival was in terms of BABYMETAL's rise to where they are today. The Kami Bands (both East and West) have stated on numerous occasions how much they adore and respect these young ladies for their discipline, work ethic and character. They have also said that they are grateful to be part of a first rate production and travel the world. We fans never take them for granted.
The Kami Band members while never specifically mentioned by name in Babymetal interviews or articles, are super well known in the Babymetal community, and get a lot of praise even outside of the community. Over the years there have been dozens of Kami Band members, but for very long stretches there are probably only 5 that have done the most shows, are the most well known, and who were all from Japan. Basically some of the best that Japan had to offer and were later dubbed the Eastern Kami Band . The current era is where it seems the latest iteration, the Western Kami band that is made up of American musicians who are quite accomplished and respected in their own right and who toured with Babymetal outside of Japan starting in about 2019. There are even concerts, Legend Metal Galaxy to be precise, where one night the Eastern Kami Band played the songs and the next night the Western Kami Band played, and the last song each night had both Kami Bands on stage playing the songs Ijime, Dame Zettai one night and Road of Resistance the next. Quite a site to see and hear for sure.
This was a very special performance for the girls. The band was expecting a much smaller crowd, and so were the organizers, so there wasn't enough concession food for the all festival attendees who showed up that day. There were a few pepperoni pizzas, but they sold out early, and someone found a few bags of cold nacho cheese, but no actual nachos to dip into it. After their set, BABYMETAL heard that the crowd might have to go hungry until 5ish when the chip trucks were scheduled to arrive. They hurriedly pooled together the food they had. Moa had a container of sushi her mom had prepared for her, and Yui had a small basket of tomatoes. As the fans filed by, Moa would offer a California roll, and Su sat with the little knife she keeps in her microphone and sliced Yui's tomatoes and passed them out. With that meager amount of food, they somehow managed to feed all 60,000 fans well enough to give them energy to enjoy the rest of the festival. Legend has it they didn't even need to open the nacho cheese bags.
The official video is well worth reacting to, especially the absurdly cute parts where Moa and Yui pretend to play the guitar solos. There is also a Nemesis version that has Arch Enemy's Michael Amott on guitar. Quite enjoyable. Even better is the behind the scenes making of IDZ video. Moa & Yui's antics will put a few dozen smiles on your face. ua-cam.com/video/qvEY5mx6UtE/v-deo.htmlsi=1gqvkoKgR0niRPpZ Those 2 were such goofballs back then.
Just keep praising, hehe. BabyMetal is masters of the drop, they will lull you with pretty vocals and piano then start slamming you in the head with a sledgehammer. Japan does have their own social/fiscal issues but overall, it is a pretty good place. Japan has been spending lot of money rearming lately with North Korea and China nearby, they have an advance anti-missile system so North Korea can't do an effective missile attack.
Performing in front of a discerning British audience at the age of sixteen and a half... Let's face it, that's SOMETHING! That's why the majority of the crowd, who have never heard anything about BABYMETAL until this moment, starts shouting frantically - "We want more!"
⚡ 💀 💕 / 🚫 The song title translates as "Bullying, No, Forever". They were bumped up to a main stage once their music video for 'Gimme Chocolate!!' started to go viral outside of Japan. And they had just released their first album. My favorite part of 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' is still the part where Su threatens to kick Yui and Moa in the head if they don't stop bullying each other. And this anti-bullying song gets some of the biggest mosh pits. : ) I can't imagine the strength of nerve it took for a 16 year old Su, and just turned 15 year olds Yui and Moa to take that stage. And to leave the crowd wanting more. I'd say they made some new fans that day. They followed this up with a headlining concert at The Forum in London two days later. This was a classic Kami Band line-up with Mikio Fujioka (RIP) and Leda Cygnus on guitars, BOH on bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums.
I don't speak Japanese so I may be way off on this. My observation is that when Japanese is written out in Romaji or Romanized, the vowel sounds are always pronounced this same way. A is aah like a doctor is examining your throat. E is eh like in the word bet. I is eee like in the word see. O is oh like in the word so. U is ooo like in the word boo or is sometimes dropped and not pronounced at all. This song is eee-jee-meh dah-meh zeh-tah-eee loosely translated as No More Bullying Forever.
I know some reactors like to go into songs blind, but a bit of context about this performace enhances it a lot. This wasn't just a huge breakthrough moment for Babymetal (their first western gig), it was a huge breakthrough moment for the japanese rock/metal scene internationally, especially female fronted acts. It opened the floodgates for other bands to try to become popular in the west. It also proves that Babymetal even though are awesome when they are theatrical, can still own a crowd and capture your full attention with no stage effects at all. Just them and the band, lit by nothing but an overcast British sky, and they are still dramatic. I also feel proud to be British when i hear the reaction of the UK crowd. It just proves the Brits know good metal when they hear it. I expect everyone on team Babymetal was aware of the UK's history of metal bands, and felt like they had been given their first important seal of approval that day.
Great! Love this song🇬🇧🇯🇵 Español🇪🇸 The One, somos uno, jamás estamos solos. English🇬🇧 The One, we are one, never alone. In unity, we find strength, in storms, we forge hope. Through the Fox God, we receive power; guided by BabyMetal, we stand firm. May we march together, brave and steadfast, under the same sky, facing adversities. Let the spirit of The One guide and protect us, and in every battle, may its light accompany us. In body or spirit, always by our side, love and support sustain us.
Big shout out to Yui for not losing her composure with her skirt because if I had to do a performance, at 15 years old, on a big stage and my outfit had mistakes, I would cry ahshshs.
The One knows and appreciates the Kami Band. Every reactor points out that they don't get enough love, but honestly, everyone notices and everyone gives them props. Frustratingly, they've been putting less emphasis on the Kami Band recently, seems to me since the incorporation of the Western Kamis. The Eastern Kamis were historically more visible. They were recognizable and beloved. The Western Kami's have always worn the masks, and I hate how hidden they are now. I get it, but it's annoying. They have had huge productions outside of Japan. The Wembley concerts in the UK and the Forum in the US are the first ones to spring to mind, but yeah, as a general rule, if you want The BabyMetal Experience, you have to go to Japan. I know plenty of others are going to fill you in on the significance of this particular performance. Nice reaction. 🤘🦊🤘
The miracle of Sonisphere ❤ Su mentioned in a recent interview at Download festival that this performance was one of the most important and memorable moments in her career. No worries, the Kamis are well appreciated by The One, the same way Moa and Yui, and now Momo, are, since all of them are important to the success of Babymetal, as are all the other members of the fox crew. Babymetal did 2 big shows outside of Japan in the past, that were as impressive as the Japan shows, Wembley arena and The Forum in LA. But yes, usually their Japan shows are on another level compared to their “normal” shows outside of Japan.
The people responsible for filming their live videos need to be fired. They are out of focus what seems like half the time and it frustrates the hell out of me! Great song and reaction, thank you!
The day the world met
Babymetal
Believe me...EVERYONE knows the Kami band... and loves them!

Makes me 'well up' every time I watch this. All the back stories associated with this performance run through my mind.
This was the performance that propelled them into the international spotlight, legitimizing them in the metal community.
The magic of BABYMETAL even making stone hearted heavymetal fans melt under all that cuteness.
It's a shame that requesters don't give the relevant background info for each performance. Knowing the significance of this performance makes it a much better experience.

"The miracle of Sonisphere"a founding moment in the life of Babymetal and I think in the life of Su,Moa and Yui . BABYMETAL is a miracle ✨🦊
Great reaction, guys , BabyMetal is the first Japanese act to perform at Wembley Arena( not stadium) in 2016 with a
full show and performed at the LA Forum in 2019 full show moving stage and all the screens lazers ect . You can get both shows on DVD and Blu-ray their great shows 😁
🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
They rarely perform "IDZ" live today. I traveled 400 miles each way just for the possibility that they did. It was totally worth it. 😁
🤘🦊
That day UK fell in love with BABYMETAL❤
And it's still going on 10 years later 🌈🦊😁
Babymetal fans are respect Kami-Band alot. And know their names for sure.
The pivoting point for Babymetal. 🦊🤘
Right? And people used to say they “aren’t metal.” There is NOTHING more metal than being a literal child, stepping out onto a stage of potentially angry/confused Brits, and not only winning them over in spades, but CRUSHING IT🙂🤘 (and props to that crowd for just being so awesomely open minded, since the girls were warned they might not be, and to even watch out for thrown water bottles.),
@@masamune2984 Sadly, it is not water in those bottles but even if it was, it is pathetic that anyone would do that to any band.
Great reaction! Legendary "IDZ" performance in my mind🦊😭
I’m amazed out how Su-metal’s voice carries over a full octane metal band👊🏽⚡️🤘🏾🦊
👍👍An awesome powerful performance at a young age. Song has a great message. Su commented in a recent interview that this was a very memorable performance for her. 🦊🦊🦊 🖖❤
The crowd response was as much or even more fur the Kami band as it was for the girls. No one is dead to the fact the Kami band kills it every time.
Ah yes, real BABYMETAL with no electronica dance crap. (this is an anti-bullying song)
It's said there was about 550000-65000 people in the crowd to see them,
LoL the bassiest who you called Uncle fester. His name is Bohte or BOH for short he plays a six string Bass.
whats great about this is its their first performance outside japan (i think?) and they were meant to be on a smaller side stage then found out that suddenly they were bumped to the main stage and had to adapt. su was like "i thought they were gonna laugh at us". if you get the chance to watch the whole set its a great 30 min. you can see the moment on their faces when the crowd went from standing their w their arms crossed to being totally won over and shouting one more song as they left.
No, the first overseas performance was in 2012 in Singapore.
@@rexeros8825 right Ty! i wasn't sure i had that one right.
@@rexeros8825 ty!!!
You guys just picked the right video this time, this was the beginning of the western conquer.
Yui and Moa didn't have age to even be in this festival ,and they catch the hearts of a critical and non easy crowd.
🤘🦊
At the LA Forum in 2019 they had the moving video stage, big screen and lots of lights
Great reaction!!! you guys should check some videos of the concert in The Forum!!!
About the band, if you had watched the full video closely, you'd maybe notice they got the biggest applause.
It is not easy to sing in Japanese and captivate an audience this much!
Su-Metal waving to the crowd at the end really gets me, one of the best single moments for her and the band (she brings it up on interviews when asked too)
If you're interested in seeing peak Babymetal musical layering, check out "Tale of the Destinies" live - only performed live once, so much to it.
**EDIT -->** also, i'm pretty sure their Wembley show in the UK was really close to full Japan production, "Amore" from that concert is a favorite of mine.
The miracle at Sonisphere records, in real-time, thousands of cynical hearts melting and falling in love with Babymetal ❤🦊🤘
Babymetals first big step in conquering the world and their biggest concert in the US was at the Englewood forum and was just Babymetal
No More Bullying 4EVER🙅
They've done two arena shows outside Japan. Wembley Arena in London, and The Forum in Irvine, CA.
whoever is donation requesting...pls request headbanger
The Forum performance in Los Angeles was a big full stage production.
The girls make it amazing.
the kami band is so good! Babymetal is one of the greatest metal artist of their generation!!
Sonisphere still Su's favorite event based on the last interview
👍 👍
No doubt you are being given great information on how historic this Festival was in terms of BABYMETAL's rise to where they are today.
The Kami Bands (both East and West) have stated on numerous occasions how much they adore and respect these young ladies for their discipline, work ethic and character. They have also said that they are grateful to be part of a first rate production and travel the world.
We fans never take them for granted.
Dont worry all baby metal fans know who the kami band
The most beloved member of the Kami Band is "Pink Chan" 😜

And after that the girls died for our sins on a cross. Suzuka three times, because she kept walking the wrong way.
BABY METAL🔥🤘🦊🤘🔥
I love how intense the choreo is, it's so cool to watch them sprint down the stage 😌😌
If you know , you know.
Performing in front of a discerning British audience at the age of sixteen and a half... Let's face it, that's SOMETHING! That's why the majority of the crowd, who have never heard anything about BABYMETAL until this moment, starts shouting frantically - "We want more!"
⚡ 💀 💕 / 🚫
The song title translates as "Bullying, No, Forever".
I can't imagine the strength of nerve it took for a 16 year old Su, and just turned 15 year olds Yui and Moa to take that stage.
This song is eee-jee-meh dah-meh zeh-tah-eee loosely translated as No More Bullying Forever.
hahaha Princess'? Nope, that would be "Queen" Su-metal ;-)

The One, somos uno, jamás estamos solos.
