I’m so happy for you. The tone and sincerity of her voice just speaks miles. Love this, 100/10 best interview I’ve seen of Helena in a while. Have a great day.
My mother passed away when I was 20 and there is nothing I love or value more than others' commentary about her. Helena was very kind and thoughtful in her answers. I know you must be so grateful to have this.
God I love this woman. So present and so sincere! Also, I loved your fathers films!! I loved Lynn Whitfields role in “Josephine Baker story” your dad was a genius
I love this. Its precious. Helena is so articulate and yet casual so she could certainly explain to a daughter about a father she sadly didnt get to grow up with. I wondered to myself: How would i sound if asked the same question? I think i would stumble and most certainly say the wrong thing even though i would of meant well. Helena is someone i would like to have as a neighbor perhaps. She appears fun and accepting of others. A bit of a nut at times. I am too. Point being...look at the setting. Looks like shes in her jammies. Perhaps. I didnt watch the whole video. (I lost my dad at 13...older but wish i had asked about him.).
you could still ask people who knew him :-)...when I see interviews I feel like Helena is well aware of her talent and sucess...but at the same time so humble, Thankful and respectful towards others...and I love that she does what she wants and doesn t care a bit what others think about it...
I think Helena's response was probably shaped by the fact that her own father had major health issues (stroke/confined to wheelchair/etc.) when she was a teenager and so she understands and values the importance of conveying positive information about a sick/deceased parent to a child who is longing to know simply anything about her parent who is no longer living. IMO, Helena was giving the kind of response she would have wanted about her own father.
...I don t know you and I don t know your father...but this interview brought me to tears, the love for your father in your voice and Helenas so soft and sensitive answers were just adorable...I lost my father only 4 weeks ago and it is very comforting to listen to people telling storys of him...thank you for sharing this video...much love from Munich...
Hi, this is very interesting! I watched several videos that you uploaded here and I kind of feel like I've known your dad, it's amazing! It seems like he was a very warm kind great creative person! ❤️ I love Helena and found your channel through her. I found you on Instagram but I'm not sure if it's you or a person with a similar name - instagram.com/raphigibson?igshid=8g8kd7q5rf8t ?:) I am very glad I stumbled upon this video, it's very heartwarming to get to know somebody even if you sadly can't meet them in real life anymore. Sending you love 💓
