The trey over Wallenberg is my all time favorite trick. It was revolutionary and put the standard much higher for everyone after he did it. Made me buy everything he put out at the time. I miss my Chris Cole thunder trucks. I know the uncut footy was long but 60+ tries? Fucking mad man

Man. My favorite skater growing up. Had atleast one pair of his shoes that I can remember and watched so many of his video parts. That wallenburg part blew my mind back in the day. Good times.

Chris is the greatest street skater of all time because he is as tech as n e tech guy and goes as big as n e body known 4 going big. Actually more tech and more big and gnarly. Lots of guys in the middle like Koston but u dont see Koston doing flip trick down the Love Gap. I always liked ledge skaters the most like Kalis, Stevie Williams just cause it looks more fun but u gotta give Chris his props.

Gap skating is so gnarly no matter how small the gap. That orbital story brings that point home. I shattered my left foot on the gap at shaw skatepark in DC. You should always consider how bad you want it before you try a gap

3:30 dude! like 7 years ago I broke my nose playing football someone ran into me right when the game ended and I had gotten 2 black eyes from it. hours after getting my nose readjusted all my friends were convinced i got my ass beat from someone at my school. Not too relateable to what happened chirs but man did that remind me of it haha

03:38. The gnarliest thing that happened to me as well. Trying to learn heelflips. Flick foot didn't catch at all, and the board went straight into my gooch. Ended up tearing my urethra, immediately started pissing blood uncontrollably. Couldn't tighten up my stomach, or bend over, or else I'd apply pressure to my bladder and I'd piss involuntarily. Had to wear a manpon for 2 months.

I remember getting my first concussion. I was trying to just do a ollie off some stairs and then I hit my head in the ground pretty hard. I started feeling dizzy, hearing a mixture of every single song i've ever heard in my life I could say, and everything was blurry. This happened for about 3 seconds and then I got rushed to the hospital, and I still don't know if it was fully a concussion, because I didnt feel any the symptoms of a concussion later, but that's what the doctors said it was. And for anyone who's wondering, the song did sound good, just a massive pain in the back of ny head, a headace, ringing in my ears, and kinda loosing my hearing a little.
That's a top notch collection!

It's probably a bell curve.
It's a matter of committing. Same reason why in school you saw dudes be unable to kickflip after years of skating. They never committed. They were too pusy to fall attempting on a kickflip so naturally you never progress.

Hey doctors and wise people! When he says he has the permanent swell on his forearm, how does that work and does that happen often and easily.
Im no doctor but i fell so much on my hip and left elbow that anytime i fall on them even if i heal up for monthes prior it is just permanantly fucked so yeah
I dont think it's permanent swelling, it's that he's got permanent deep tissue scarring that makes two different parts of his elbow swell whenever he bruises that part of his arm. I could be wrong. How easy is it? You'd have to land on it a lot... Like too many times for most people to keep trying. Sounds painful as hell
Scar tissue my guy that's from years of landing on the same spot repeatedly
it's a bone bruise...when a part of bone gets damaged when it heals it tends to ossificate(get bigger)...then it starts to be an easy target when falling again, and gets biggers as the process repeats itself
I've had mine for about 14 years. When it finally looks normal, if I even roll gently on it, it flares up like Lindsay Lohan's nose.
Chris Cole is a legend in the game. And as you can see, even legends fall and get busted. But...still get the job done. Hands down one of the greatest of all time.

That backside flip over the py rid is literally good luck 🍀 👍🏼 for how unlikely it would would do all of that damage! I only say because I had the EXACT thing happen except it took my top lip almost completely off both front tooth lookin reel pretty and somehow broke my nose. (However that was #4 for my my nose) Cartlidge is a bit different from bone. It just gets weaker
