"You will be sore" *me after playing the playtest for 3 days* How else am I going to beat people at Chambara without exerting more force than necessary?
Tip for Chambara: the blocking hitbox doesn't extend infinitely, but instead matches the actual dimensions of the sword, specifically this sword blade (idk if it was just me that thought this but yea). This means that with certain orientations some attacks will still hit even though they appear to be perpendicular to the blocking orientation. This is because they intersect the hilt of the sword rather than the blade, so the blocking hitbox is not triggered. Because of this, you might sometimes wanna turn your blade 180° to block an incoming attack that seems to be going straight through your guard even though it appears that it shouldn't. It's hard to figure out the attack angles that avoid the block hitbox but if you're looking for them you'll probably spot them shortly.
I think it's mostly due to timing and how far your character has to travel to hit the birdie. The strat is to make your opponent travel as far as possible making them trip. You do this by switching between regular shots and doing drop shots in between
Timing based. I've got a guide to Badminton coming soon, but essentially the rallies get faster, so if you mess up your timing, you're likey to fallover

The content was really interesting too and well presented. (Yeah football for sure 😂). Some awesome things to collect, although some of the stamps looked scary 😂. Nice to see how I can upgrade the cosmetics of my character, and change my image and body 😄. Hopefully my skills will improve through experience 😉
Honestly I’m grand champ 2 in rocket league but man are these random teammates in football on the switch sports are horrendous 🤣. They just bunch up and I’m just away from action waiting on a chance

In tennis you can hold the joy con to the left or right and your character will also hold their racket to the left or right. You can use this to help you decide where you will hit the ball. Also if you swing the joy-con in an upward motion you'll hit the tennis ball up and it won't fly as far if you're having trouble with hitting it out when you're near the edge. This does not cause the Blue Trail unless your character has to lunge to get to the ball.

Yeah, its not a good system if I can be honest. There should definitely be a range of cosmetics offline available to unlock, with more online as the incentive. Not locking it entirely online, and then throttling for non NSO players.
another tip for volleyball ALWAYS block on the opposite site of where your teammate is standing. Worst case, you won't block at all and your teammate just receives the ball if you block like in 1:19 if the attacker hits the ball away from your teammate (in this case to the attacker's right or the blockers left) there is no way of getting to it
There’s a very funny cheese in badminton where if you hold the joycon straight up and lightly move it back and forth ~3 inches or so you’ll automatically get fast hits every time, it never misses, and you won’t trip either. It’s a pretty much guaranteed win and it’s hilarious, definitely recommend trying it yourself if you have the opportunity to.
For bowling I cannot hook the ball no matter how much I turn my wrist, I believe you let ZR go and then twist your joycon right? I just can't do it but I might be turning my wrist too early during my swing. Any suggestions?
I have a really important question I m in the highest rank in volley but when I m blocking spiking from the opponent I can slow down the ball so my mate can take it easily but most of the time for me it’s random we’re the ball it’s going to fall but for the opponent it’s more frequently that they take the ball properly so my question is « is it really random or it’s a question of timing » and a second question in volley again when I m spiking a ball in a direction the ball goes to the opposite and idk why bc in the settings I don’t have inverse mouvement or anything else I hope u can answer my question and by the way I love ur videos
So I thought I answered this. Sorry! Its definitely a question oftiming. Spiking can be done directionally, so blocking at the right time can results in a skewy block sometimes. Its generally to do with a clear direction when spiking.
How did you get your tennis score to display in 15, 30, 40 intervals?? I hate that they display everything in 1, 2, 3 point intervals. Doesn’t feel like the real sport😔
In those matches it's still real tennis, but instead of a normal match you're playing a tie-breaker type match. I guess they did it this way to make it go quicker.

Thats an interesting one. Could be that the icon is wrong in the games files? These things have happened before (Pokemon GO accidently used the Shiny Zapdos model for regular Zapdos)
@@kermitsudoku6446 What I'm saying is that its possible Nintendo put the wrong icon on. So its meant to be a red tracksuit but it loads the orange one. Or, its a colour setting on the TV? Im not sure.
When you swing your arm, you have a natural curve, including with your hand. You've gotta really focus on holding the joycon in the same position to keep it straight. Thats worked for me as I've got natural curving when I do a full arc as well
Is it me or can you time your volleyball spikes based on your timing too? You character opens up from your spike hand side and scans from one side to the other. Also the soreness really caught me off guard. I had to take a break from volleyball to play bowling. My shoulders were killing me the next day
Yeah, if you dont perform the action in the right time frame it doesnt spike well. The timing window for Quick Spikes is a lot shorter depending on your current position too.
At 3:48 you mention the item cards. Those item cards are the same for Every Single Person. My wife and I play and have the exact same cards. Our son and his fiancé play and they have the same exact cards as us always too. Also have friends down the road that play and their cards are the same as well. So if they do change the individual items they haven’t ever done it for any of us. Just thought I would add this piece of info for ya
@@MasterTrainerPeter i reached A now but now id say the matchmaking is rigged in my favour. As the highest rank i should have worse teammates but i get more As on my team vs low rated. Its not bad to have a mix but how hard is it to program in a even team selector.

I would definitely second a request to see how to hit topspin in tennis consistently! Very tough to do but it’s a game changer in high levels of play

Motion detection for Chambara isn't perfect for those horizontal swipes I'm afraid.
This is the main reason I rarely play chambara. Horizontal strikes rarely register for me so is hard to take advantage of blocking position.
Make sure to alway re calibrate the control. I find that it gets weird each play set

Move your wrist at the end of the spike motion towards the desired direction, at least that works for me.
I just smash my hands in that ditection like a real motion 😂

Those shots were from an offline match where I was practicing Rocket Serve

There is proof on the Nintendo Switch Sports subreddit of there being 3 variations of each item card.
