I was always afraid of my parents going through my journal and that someone would judge me. You have inspired me to start writing again and it had already changed my attitude towards life. Thank you so much for your amazing videos!
I JUST bought the same journal!! How wonderful to be journal twins! I thought it was an amazing deal for how big and full it is. And of course I ADORE that it lies flat. Your entries are like butter. Just smooth, peaceful and delicious.....hugs hun
Tina, you're love, you're amazing. Your voice is honey. Your collages are simple yet so beautiful just like perfection. I wish there were more people like you.
You inspired me to start a journal one night after I watched almost every single on of your videos. I found an empty journal while cleaning out a storage unit at work that next day. I started writing in it every day that was in July.Im almost done with the journal now!!! I never thought i would make it through. Usually i start a journal and throw it away or burn it up because I'm embarrassed of it or afraid someone will read it but you just inspired me so much to do this for myself and i love you for that and thank you so much
I could listen to you read your journal entries all day! You have such a calming and beautiful voice. It reminds me of sun shining through a canopy of leaves, cool little snail trails through the sand in the water at the beach, Audrey Hepburn singing Moon River.
I'm currently using a composition notebooks that I decorated, I like it, but it's definitely not my favorite. For a cheap option it's good though. Journaling is the best part of my day, I'm always excited to come home to my journal (I cant take it to school with me) it's like a second of freedom. Love your videos so much! They are so inspiring and happy. 💛💛🌻
Love this journal! August and September always feel like a fresh start to me as well. I think its because of all the schooling and then the teaching after. Great time of year.
Tina, this is sooooo beautiful!!!😭💕 I needed to see this today. Thank you for sharing with us. Something I love doing in my journals (perhaps on your brown pages ?) is finding childhood photographs of myself and pasting them onto a page (or making copies first if that's too scary!) and then painting/drawing/collaging scenes around the little girls I once was. Kind of a reimagining of their situations or an exploration of what I remember feeling at the time. Sometimes I just like to paint them in safe, loving places like near the ocean or in a forest surrounded by lightning bugs and flowers 😊 That's what I've been doing lately. I find a LOT of processing and progress is born from time making art with my younger selves 🌈 It's been very healing, emotional, and just plain fun too! I find it's only increased the flow of love in and around me FOR me (which is never a bad thing in my opinion!) Much love, you beautiful human!! Happy birthday month! 💕💜💕💜💕
@@jess89O I honestly think you should. You would make a great youtuber. I would definitely subscribe. I wish you did try, when you sent that last comment a year ago. I thought that you may have started and so I clicked on your profile but alas, I guess not. I understand it may not be your thing but uou should try just filming yourself, in private, pretending to be a youtuber to see if it's your thing. If it is, and I understand it isn't for everyone, like me, but if it happens to be be enjoyable, it would be great if you gave it a go.:)
Tina, thanks for sharing this! You are a real artist and inspiration. Let me tell you also that to me you are a healer because your authenticity and strength has been an important part of my personal healing. Your videos have a very special place in my self-care tool box called "My Refuge". Much Gratitude & Love, Katy
I love love love! the quotes in this journal! I like the middle craft pages -- I'd use them for art journaling AND regular daily journaling. I like seeing what ideas/thoughts different kinds of paper pull out of me.
Im currenty using a journal with blank pages for the first time (I always had lined pages before) and though it's kinda different than what Im used to, I love it so far!
Girl it looks so beautiful. I have quite literally binged watched your videos as I get ready to explore my own journaling adventure. Also I am so happy you like the stickers. Thanks again for supporting my little shop, lots of love
I'm using a scrappy old art book (one of those slim black covered ones thats just stapled together), it has been cut in half into A5 and I'm using it vertically (it opens upwards). It is a mish mash of art journalling, to do lists, writing and more. I'm just getting used to journalling for the first time. I wonder how the vibe in it will change when I start uni to study Fine Art - I am excited but mostly terrified...but I have a 'happy moments' section and a 'gratitude' section that I add to daily, and i am continually inspired by your ideas - thank you :) x
This is STUNNING. like a little piece of magic. Oh, how I loved to hear you talk your poetry alive. You are a true artist, Tina. P.s it's kind of funny, 'cause I've been doing headers for years, but seeing your other journals made me think that oh, I don't have to do this. So I just stopped, since it made me less stressed out about making it pretty. Ha! We switched styles with each other. Much love x
You inspire me so much to continue on journaling and I love that you have the beautiful courage to share all of this with us, I love that about your channel!❤
Really wanted to thank you! I've been two weeks journaling, and it's working!! I always tried but It nerver worked. But you teach me that i can do anything in it. No rules!!! So thank you cause it's helping me a lot. Also i'm making lot's of collages, cause i've always done them, just in school notebooks or folders😂 You are so special, you give me a peace, and a sensation of protection. I'm vegan too, and the concept is just perfect. Heyy fron Spain!!! (Also i'm writing in english in my journal, my little voice speaks english!!! Jsjajja imrpoving It)
Hi lovelies! Leave me a comment below and tell me something about your journaling journey! What kind of notebook are you using right now and how do you feel about it?
Overall Adventures I started a creative journal for about a month ago in a 5$ notebook + a black gelly roll pen. Have only used 10 pages and it is already chunky/puffy! 😍
hiya I love u so much and ur videos omg your such a huge inspiration to me you're why I started journaling myself! I'd also love to share my fave quote 'because who would choose a daisy in a field of roses' I'm always the odd one out and the shy, artistic girl in school, that why it's my favourite and I can relate so much to it!! xx🤗😘😍
Overall Adventures i found this notebook that i got when i turned 18. It will be 4 years old soon and FULL. i write so much lately. Moving into a moleskine soon. Already collaged in it
a navy blue hardcover with golden suns and spirals all around. it reminds me of old books with fancy spines, with a sort of “witchy”, creepy vibe. I love it.
I don't really journal; I generally write whats on my mind on word documents on the computer; because I think quicker than I can write with my hand. I then print all entries fold and stick them into a journal. I like the way it bulks, and how you can unfold different entries. I sometimes stick photos in between, or envelopes with drawings I drew or topics that interest me and my thoughts on them. I love sticking things and having full pages, but I don't quite know what else to stick in. I sometimes fill blank spaces with doodles ~ I thought about putting in tickets and alike; but I have a different journal for that (in which I actually physically write in). This one is about analysing myself, who I am and organizing my thoughts, only referencing things that are currently happening if it's revelant to my mental state. Any ideas of what else I can put in a journal like that?
I LOVE the idea of printing out the pages and pasting them in your journal! How about personality quizzes? Favorite quotes? Vision boards/collages for your past/present/future self? Just a few ideas :)
I love what you shared. Oh, I know I'm not supposed to compare, but my journals are so full of flat writings and not beautiful poetry as is yours. I'm used to the diary sort I kept for decades before putting aside all journaling. I'm back to it and do find your videos inspiring. Yet I compare. My doom in all things creative. I like your new journal. I love the idea of using the kraft pages for art journaling and perhaps incorporate poems and quotes. I hope you share what you do. Thank you for a peek into your heart and soul.
the journal and what you've done with it are sooo freakin beautiful. for the craft papers, if you draw, i think doing trees/leaves/branches/botanical drawings in general would look really really nice against the brown paper. especially for fall-related entries. i have a whole notebook of brown craft paper that I use for such a purpose (:
A fun idea i had for your toned pages: you could draw the shadow (maybe in white gelpen or in black) casted by the flowers that where right next to your journal in the video. Thought that could look great. Love you, you are such an inspiring person and a wonderfull human being
I go to school and also love journaling. However, when school starts I have no time to journal cause now I have to read textbooks and do homework. I feel guilty if I work on my journal when I know I should be doing homework. Any advice?
In my opinion it's totally fine when you spend some time on journaling every day, even when you've got work to do. I guess it's just about the balance - like don't journal for hours when you feel guilty afterwards, but time spent on your own and being creative helps you (hopefully) to release stress and is so important for your personal growth. You could just spend 15min on journaling before going to bed when you're done with homework (that's how I like to do it). Your grades are important but the things that you like to do are very important as well!
I would set a time for you to journal everyday. For example like 15 minutes before bed. Find what time will work best and get it into a routine. Hopefully this helps :)
valeria martinez if I feel like I need to get stuff out/journal during a busy day. I split my time. So I may write for 15 mins and get it out, do my assignment/go to class, continue writing after or if I need to write about something else, draw a line and continue writing for 15 mins. You don't have to force yourself to write a certain amount or for a certain time. Make time when you can and write as little/much as you want :) hope that helped
am in my late 20's and thought ly one to love journalling.I seek my notebook when I feel down also more when am excited, my current one is mole skin cover with lines I save not to finish it quickly 😘your inspiring keep 📚📑📓📕📗📘📙📒📔✨📮💌

Hi! I find your video so inspiring and your voice so calming...just so you know! I have always loved writing, but for some reason I am stuck and I don't know how to, even tho I feel I desperately NEED to journal. I love your journaling style, simple and cool at the same time, for this reason I have a question; where do you find inspirations for the quotes you use? do the quotes inspire you or you find a quote that fits what you are journaling about? And last but not least, how you decide the "theme" of your journal, as decoration? in this one I see some botanic and flower theme going out Don't know if you addressed these topics in previous videos, so I hope you don't mind me asking
Hello I found you as I'm searching for "How to beginn a Journal" on youtube. I was not really in to it, but now you gave me the motivation do start my own journal. So I want to thank you for all these videos that are really really well made and for all the inspiring words that you but in to your work. Also I was wondering if you have a page on Tumblr, because all you work reminds me a lot of that what I see on my dashboard. I wish you a wonderful Day and I apologize for my bad english, I'm from germany. ^^'
Hey Tina! Love this video :) beautiful journal great work as always!!!! I was wondering if you had any advice for me. I love journaling and being creative. But now that I'm back in highschool I don't have the free time like I used to. I still absolutely adore my journal and all creativity throughout my life but. I'm not inspired like I used to. I know this problem is holding me back from improving my journaling style and self reflection. But I'm just not sure what to do. Any help you can offer??? Much love // :)
