One of the zombie picks should be Serge because, based on previous AskLRRs, Serge will already have spent a summer working as a zombie hunter back in his twenties.
I recently did a rewatch of Buffy, and season 7 hits a lot different knowing what we know about Joss.
I'd dispute that Star Trek wouldn't have place for someone who makes books. They have replicators but Ben Sisko's dad runs a restaurant. People will still like bespoke stuff when everyone has enough functional basics.

Im taking Alex and Adam for the reasons you said but im taking James for his ability to dig holes, and organize but also with James you get a bonus Marshall who lives close to PAX and brings his Seattle knowledge and fine tool skills, and Nelly for his amazing luck having played Minecraft with him. and since the mods are a part of LRR Im taking Dix too to round out my zombie Outbreak survival team.

Having visited the island twice, I recommend Ucluelet (cheaper to stay at when visiting Tofino) and the Botanical Beach hiking trail near Port Renfrew

I really appreciate Nelson fully vindicating my experience of learning a musical instrument. At the age of 8 or so, I wanted to learn to play the Tuba, but was told 'cornet is just like the tuba', and proceeded to be miserable for the next 8 years and learned nothing.

Heather a Buffy Fan? Sick! I've watched the entire series a few times over the years (grew up with it on free to air TV and enjoyed it, wound up with the boxed set, which now unfortunately has missing disks, I've been trying to find an online option for it)
Zombies: could take Serge and go for a charisma build.

Jordynne yes!! Other TTRPGs than the big name one is my jam!! There are so many cool games that do some wildly rad things and often cover what people try to whamjangle into said popular game. Plus you can support actually cool people instead of a corporation that cares only for you as social/financial capital.
Beej having an EWI is probably not surprising to me only because I am deeply interested in one, though us flautists have it significantly easier for prepping our instrument before playing. I especially like the idea of being able to effectively play it for only myself and not having to worry about being a night owl that still wants to practice or compose without bothering others.
I fully feel you on the keys thing too! My biggest hurdle for making music today is how much I rely on the instrument which a DAW obviously doesn't replicate and the EWI fuses things in a way I'd overall find better but would certainly lead to me getting mildly fussed about the lacking tactility (lack-tility?)
Speaking of music, Kathleen know that I too have been deeply looking forward to Forgiveness Is Yours by FWF and I cannot get over Bullet Of Dignity's music video. Love me a wild n' lewd MV as a butch bitch befitting those adjectives equally or more. Continue to feel vindicated in my music tastes to know it overlaps with Kathleen's.

Ian and I have pretty much diametrically opposed views on fonts. Serifs are evil, arial is a perfectly solid workhorse font, and that stupid swoop on the trailing descender on the capital R in helvetica can suck it.
Zombie outbreak question makes me want to see a crossing the streams with Project Zomboid to see just how they'd fair.

Your friends in the meat space not caring about what you like is relateable. When you are into Ethereal wave and other of those post punk era genres that are long dead, you could talk someones ear off, but you know people just do not care. Same goes for 90s to early 2000 visual novels and audio dramas, like the PSX Serial experiments lain game is something you really love, but no one cares nor can you recommend it to anyone thanks to a menu system that makes you hate life.
