What if your car is doing it and you take it apart and you find there’s already a jumper harness in there? Is it time to replace the shifter module? Because that’s what just happened to me.
The dealership ‘fixed’ this problem while my Acadia was under warranty. It’s doing it again but warranty is expired so I’ll have to pay out of pocket if they work on it again. Seems like since this a known issue, GM would correct the problem

Yes and it’s a super common issue. I’ve fixed several acadias, traverses and malibus for the same issue.

Where did you order the shifter assembly from?
The dealer. It’s the oem part
