I think you're being somewhat paranoid .. as someone who comes from outside Newcastle, I would say that you rarely hear people hating on your team .. Man City yes .. Man United definitely .. Liverpool yes .. even Arsenal lately ... but never Newcastle. Try being a Villa fan and being fourth in the league and not getting the recognition we deserve despite Ollie Watkins and his 19 goals ... none of which are penalties .. we might as well be invisible.

Thanks again for another high standard news show Paul. Isak is unique and irreplaceable £150m minimum. Gordon yet again, unique and irreplaceable £150m minimum. Bruno can be replaced at a price but can't see him leaving. £125m minimum after the clause runs out. Believe me none of them are going anywhere, the same for Botman, Livarmento, Hall, Tonali, J7 and Alex Murphy.
We will start next season with 2 new centre backs who come Christmas will be rotated with Botman, Schar and Burn.Possibly add Lascelles to that. Trippier, Hall, Livramento as fullbacks Pope plus another keeper. Up front we have Isak, Gordon, Barnes, Jacob Murphy and another striker, possibly another winger. Add to that Anderson and Willock. That is a better squad than last years 4th place guys. Keeping them fit and well that is better than this year and we are still in 6th.
With sales limited to the likes of Wilson? Longstaff? and others plus the wages saved from those leaving for free should total around £35/40m. Add to that the CL money, increase in TV rights and place money for the league plus £40m from Adidas and we are not really desperate. So F**k the media off all persuasions and the opposing fans and clubs. Just ignore them. They know less than us.
We have to aim to keep - Botman, Tino, Hall, Big Joe, Gordon, Isak, Bruno and of course Tonali.

After watching the Newcastle documentary on Amazon and seeing how much they actually wanted Gordon, there’s no way he’s going. I didn’t realise at the time how interested the club were and how much they liked him. As for Isak, we are struggling for strikers and quality strikers are hard to come by for decent money so again for me, he’s not going and I’d hate to see Bruno go and think we would struggle like hell to replace him but from a financial point of view, he is the only one of the 3 that makes sense. He has at least 3 X’d his value.

Spot on Paul. Even if Liverpool wanted and put in an offer for Gordon, player power is a very real aspect of these dealings. Gordon with his history at Everton wouldn't want to play for Liverpool.
As for who is most likely to leave this summer of the big three, I agree with Bruno being the one. Not just because of the release clause but also the age. Bruno is 26, will be 27 this year. He is very vocal about wanting to play Champions League football. Put those two together, and you see he has less time than Isak (24) and Gordon (23). I think it's safe to say that no one is coming after Botman now, or if they do, they certainly are going to offer barging basement prices for him with the ACL injury.
Excellent honest content as always Paul. Olise would be class but I expect City, Arsenal or Liverpool will be able to offer him £250k a week and we can’t break our wage structure that much. I think Kubo from Sociedad would be similar fee wise and much cheaper on wages. I think the club will prioritise keeping our big stars and avoid selling them to PL teams if at all possible. Bruno is the most likely to go because of the release clause and being older than the other 2, but we’re not desperate to sell as I think the club have managed the PSR situation for this season with the Australian trip and other commercial revenue.
We must keep our best players Paul if we are to progress in the future in a years time if the ffp changes come in it looks like we might have about 500 million to spend

Great video Paul. The dynamic of NUFC and the Premier League has been changing over the last couple of years. The traditional media outlets are having trouble switching from a “greedy six” narrative.

The thing is, if you listen to Gordon carefully on The Overlap he said he wants to achieve & win championships "wherever that may be". He didn't expressly say at Newcastle. I thought that was very interesting.

Newcastle are another animal now, we have experts resources for administering the club. We have never been in such a good position off the field. I believe, the planning that is being done short term and long term, is in great detail. This question who’s leaving and which manager is coming in all the time is so boring. The board of directors, know the difference Howe and the new players are having on the team and the local area. Howe and the players are here to stay, the way the players talk about Howe is absolutely fantastic, he has charisma that makes you want to play for him. The players he has now all look up to him, we have never been so united with spirit since the keegan era.
Controversial opinion, I'd sell Bruno before Isak. There's always another world class midfielder around the corner, but world class forwards are very hard to find. Isak is a Unicorn!
I fully agree with the Liverpool wanting Gordon shite, they have a new manager coming in and no idea how well he's gonna do. So WHY would someome as great as Gordon leave on a potential when at the Toon he will have chances under a great manager.

Liverpool new model, is the DOF making all the signings\decisions was agreed with Hughes coming back in, and the Manager will be just a head coach who coming into Anfield this summer.
Imo not one of those are leaving this transfer window. No-one knows our finances, how closer to ffp or psr we are, how much we potentially have to spend. We have sponsor money coming UCL money coming, stack and no doubt much more. Plus I for one don't know when our ffp, psr accounting period starts or ends. Personally think all the media constantly talk a load of bollox to unsettle anything or anyone attached to NUFC.
Think back to Keegan and Robson, how many stars wanted out? You could say Cole but I think things were going on and Keegan wanted shot.
every window we will plug the holes in the squad. Man City are so formidable, because they have 23 high quality first team players. We just need time to get there. If a player leaves, it will be the player pushing for the move only. Not outside the realms of possibility, but fingers crossed Eddie holds them together and we build in the summer. If we get a massive £ influx from a big sale, well on the positive we can massively accelerate the rebuild. Just puts that risk on getting the recruitment right
I was also thinking Bruno would be the one to go. I know he says he loves it here but he also wants CL, also depends on who comes knocking on the door for him, hard to say no to some clubs. Club might need to sell someone big and the talk before was that Tonali and Bruno both wanted to play the same position, that might go to Tonali then and we will get a big bag of cash for Bruno.
Regarding the conversation with the owner and Isak - he’ll want assurances that we will compete for trophies. So it’s a perfect opportunity for the chairman to confirm Kelly, Tosin and the other 4 or 5 top targets they expect will transform us to title condensers. Or at least trophy contenders next season

It's heart breaking to lose our players. I feel we have always been a big club - there is nowhere like Newcastle - as fans we know this and the players feel it too. I remember Andy Cole being sold and I never forgave KK for that as a fan. I think the problem is the papers HAVE to sell a story so lets upset a few people along the way. Arsenal do need a striker - but why should they have our player. Bruno is the heart of the team - we are building around him - he is so good and he wants to stay The squad's age profile is being reduced - young players who are going to take us to the next level. I'd rather take a points deduction than lose Bruno Isak or Gordon plus a few others too. I feel we are the closest club to being a family for the players and the NE has beautiful uncrowded places for them to bring up their children safely. What's not to love and why would anyone leave so long as we are ambitious.

Anthony Gordon won't go to Liverpool .. at the moment he is the star of the show up north .. he could possibly spend half the season sat on the bench at Liverpool. It would be like what happened with Grealish when he left us (Villa) for Man City. If he's played half a dozen matches this season ... I rest my case. Selling any combination of Bruno, Isak or Gordon would set us back years..ALL of them were relatively undiscovered gems - and it's far from guaranteed we or any other club could bring in new players that can replicate that positive impact. How many big transfers from last summer have worked really well - look at Diaby, Szoboslai, Maddison (all players we were linked with) - underwhelming seasons IMHO... PIF wants to build a winning team - NUFC is a prestige project for Saudi Arabia - they don't care about clipping quick 50m profit here or there on player sales

Gordon is a far better player than Isac IMO he never gives up. Keep him let aisac go if we have to. We must keep Bruno and Gordon.

Unless Gordon was a secret Liverpool fan when he played for Everton (and I don't believe he was) then I'd be very surprised if he'd even consider leaving us for them.

If we were in danger of breaching PSR, we would've done so already, and the PL would've been all over us like white on rice, like they have everton, leicester and forest. We have money due imminently from tv revenue, league position, champions league exploits, adidas, sela, saudia, formula e and so on and so forth, and at least 3 or 4 saleable assets that aren't amongst the clubs best players, and another half dozen fringe players that we'll ship off to reduce the wage bill. I can't see us losing any big players at all, not least because the club are well aware of "newcastle tax" and know we'd end up paying twice as much for replacement players that are only half as good. "Fair market value"? Bollox!
