I can see olise going to Liverpool as a replacement for salah but if we can snag one of them it’s a good signing regardless
There is definitely very significant revenue coming in to take the handcuffs off. Selling some, Wilson, Miggy maybe even Longstaff, will surely unlock it all. Olise for £60M, plus the free agents will probably leave us with 50-75M for a ST, maybe Sesko?

I’d be happy with just getting Olise to play on the opposite flank to Gordon. Sell Miggy and use Murphy as cover when needed.
I’m not convinced with Olive’s signing. His injury problems is a concern just like Manure messed up with Mount knowing his injury record.

Eze is an upgrade and can play for Willock and Olise walks into the team for Miggy/Murphy. We would be lucky to simply get 1 but it's nice to dream 😂.
I would take geuhi he is good with his feet similar to schar and he is still really young and has alot of potential we could potentially do a swap deal with Almiron or Murphy plus something million for him
You give me Tonali and Minteh and let Hall and Livermento play and I’m happy . Back up number 9 and maybe a good young CB . Am I asking for too much ?
Emery never worked with En-Nesyri but the new WHU manager Lopetegui did, so we could get him if the price is right
It's frustrating but if we take a step back and remember where we've come from, it's actually hilarious. Our top players are now actually tipy top players, so of course Bruno, Isak are linked to "bigger" clubs. Palace are the Toon of the south, and fact they've recruited so well with Wharton, Olise etc they will have to sell if/when the offers come in e.g. Carrol, Cabaye, Perez. The difference now is we are adding not replacing. There will be bumps along the road, but with owners, Eddie in particular are now a very exciting "project" (I hate that phrase but it works) for players. So let the legacy media and pundits talk nonsense all they want, just don't forget THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT, THE FUTURE IS TOON 😎🥳🏁🏁 HWTL
We have to start thinking about the spend cap coming in , 4.5 times the profit of the 20 th placed team , last season was 105 million , its going to crunch ,
I think palace would be happy to get a bounty of somewhere in the region of £120M for them - would significantly help the new manager build a team in his mold! If it were to happen (especially if Palace did actually consider it) then Palace would want to get it done early to ensure they can get on with their re-build. Newcastle are no longer a 'selling club!'

Honestly would this be the most surprising if we brought in one or more of these ? last season we signed Tonali £55m Liveramento £35m Barnes £40m and Minteh £8m and we sold Maxi £25m Wood had been done in Janurary but the money may have been a summer thing as I believe he went on loan initially this summer assuming Wood money was in the summer we sold £40m and paid near enough £140m so net spend £100m we've already committed £30m for buying Hall but we're probably offsetting that with Almiron money I would guess as Minteh looks like a natural replacement. We could have two "free signings" in cb's they won't be free as they will have high wages but probably still cheaper than going out and buying the players we want to bring in. I would imagine if we land both of those CB's then Guehi is off the radar. We then have the Adidas money coming in too so if we paid Sesko's release clause these would more or less offset each other. I think there will be money to be spent after this based on my back of the envelope calculations however clearly I don't have access to the books we also don't know if any of our players will be plucked away from us by a champions league club and how much we'll get for them but there may be £90-100m to play without selling more than Almiron which I guess is also an assumption. Thats assuming our revenue wasn't greater this year having been a champions league team ourselves ...and there is the possibility Dan Ashworth isn't sticking some decking in and mowing the lawn this summer.
Don't forget to add Lewis Hall to that list. We have an obligation to buy him which I believe the price was £28 million.

Look I'll agree it would a dream if we could bag all three, but Palace are on the up. Much like we are, and we scoff at selling Bruno, Gordon, or Isak. Never mind all three. If we can only get one, I'd want Olise or Eze to strengthen the RW
I don't think it would smash our wage structure, Guehi is only on 50k a week, Eze and Olise both 100k a week, bearing in mind Bruno is on 160k a week, the transfer fees would be by far and away the biggest problem. 🤷♂️

I think the bottom line is that nobody knows, and definitely don’t take any notice of what the press says, they’re just trying to flog their papers. Also the money might be there, however can we spend it?

1) We ain't signing all 3 of the palace players, we just aren't. 1 of either Olise or Eze is more sensible and I'd much prefer the young CB from Everton than Guehi. 2) The Newcastle tax exists within the Premier League, but if a player wants to join us then we will do a deal at a fair price. It just reeks of fear from the other clubs because of the owners riches. 3) Agreed, Wilson is done at Newcastle, we just can't rely on him. The only way I see Wilson being here next season is if Isak is sold and we bring another striker in, Wilson may feel he can make a push for top dog again.
We are getting Tosin and Kelly in for free! So we should go all in for Olise! Guehi and Eze are nothing we are going to afford! 😅
Only way this happens if we release Longstaff and Wilson to them but with the way they're playing now why would they have those 2

Olise has a 60m release clause, our markee signing will be for RW, were getting a full defence for free by looks of things so leaves us a lot of money to play with.
@@PAB86 I'm not sure two unproven defenders is enough, Botmans timeline says January but he could miss next season and Burn/Schar are a year older. Ousmane Diomande could be the marquee signing.
@@TheSarinaide Ac milan, united and Roma are after Tosin. And Howe signed Kelly for Bournmouth he knows better than anyone what type of player he is and he can play a few positions. We can't afford to buy more than one star player and RM is the place we are currently the weakest.
One swallow does not a summer make. These players at Crystal Palace may just be going through a purple patch under a new manager, something that happens on a regular basis,as players try to impress and justify their selection. The old adage, of be careful what you wish for has never been so relevant.

This is Newcastle not England. We can’t keep splashing out big amounts of money on young English players who play for mid-table clubs or lower. Very good players yes. What we need is to bring in at least two experienced players with a winners mentality. Not sure Eddie will bring those players in because it might upset certain players who aren’t good enough for where we want to be. Xhaka’s presence would intimate our lads. Trippier and Wilson want to leave and that’s two big personalities and a LaLiga winner right there. Schar is getting on. Tomori or Diomande should be considered for the long term. Tosin is a good signing.

Our net spend in the last 3 seasons has been between £100-£145M . The CP 3 would cost at least £170M, Given we need a striker and a Goalkeeper we would need probably £40M for En-Nesyrior and £30M for Mamardashvili based on reports. Thats a spend of £240M. The only way we could afford is to sell at least 8 players which would probably give us around £100M. Thats a net spend of £140M which is at the highest end of the range we have seen. The wages of these players together with Kelly and Tosin is around £395000pw. So you are talking £600000pw at mimimum if they sign. The players we would sell and out of contract covers £560000 of this so wage wise its possible but IMHO its a no go in terms of what we would need to pay out which I think at the moment we cannot afford. Also to fund this you would need squad depth in terms of numbers in the midfield and on RW. Given this season issues this is not what we want to do The article smacks of not looking at the impact to the squad and the actual feasibility. I suspect we were looking at all 3 but not to but all 3 . Maybe we were looking at Guéhi before Tosin became availible. En-Nesyrior is a decent player but I would rather go for Sesko who probably would cost a little more.

I wonder much of my time I’ll waste watching pointless videos like this over the next few months…. It’s all utter crap… we turn over less than £300 million a year. At best we’ll have 50-80 million to spend this summer…. We need some free transfers and some smart recruitment of young up and coming players…. Eddie said we can’t afford already established stars… We’re shopping at Tesco’s not Harrods. Why bother making such ridiculous claims…. Yawn……
