- In this narrated video I am rolling 2 rounds with Husain. Both gi and no-gi. He received his black belt in December 2023. He has trained at Renzo's with the Danaher Death Squad back when they were a thing. We have 5 other rounds together you can find in the links below.

What a great black belt training partner to roll with; you are very lucky !
This guy is TECHNICAL! He looks so comfortable upside down
One of the top most technical guys at the gym and has been probably since purple belt
really nice leg game
Tops.
Sir, professor, help me, how to defend a lapel choke? With gi, when the rival takes his lapel, cross it behing your head, takes it with the other hand, move to north-shouth, I've been having problems to defend that...i hope u can help me
Hey brother. First of all I am NOT a professor! I see myself more as a mentor for lower belts. I hope to be one eventually though! The main defense for that is not letting him get his lapel behind your head and turn into it
Thanks mentor @@Jitsover50
Could you describe Hussein's hand grips for me ? Its hard to phatom the hand grip pressure.
I don't think it was so much his hand grips as much as his ability to wrap around my leg upside down. If that makes sense. But yes overall he is strong.
This guy Husain is really fast. Is this at 4x speed O sumthin? 🔥
He is fast but I didn't think he really used it in this video. I think he used speed more in some of our other videos(links in the description! But thank you for all the comments!
Gotta get weight on the foot their attacking, right now. As soon as they attach to the foot, you have to come up. Laying on your side, while he has your foot locked and elevated, is always going to be a lose for you.
Yep.
