- Leon Howard aka Wallstreet Trapper grew up in the turbulent streets of New Orleans. His mother was shot in front of him when he was 9 years old. He took to the street life early and was arrested and tried as an adult at the age of 16 for attempted murder and armed robbery. He was found guilty and sentenced to 10 years in Louisiana state penitentiary.

He was introduced to the stock market while he was incarcerated and fell in love with it instantly. He read every book and newspaper he could get his hands on and watched CNBC every morning religiously.
When he was released from jail he began working as an ironworker. While he was working he invested 70% of his income. After putting together a strategic plan he quit his job and became a full-time investor and entrepreneur. He now travels the country to teach other people with similar backgrounds about stocks and investing. He credits the stock market for changing his life and getting him out of the cycle of destruction that he was raised in. He now is on a mission to help educate as many people as possible about investing to provide a level of hope that he was not afforded as a youth.
He’s 100% self-educated but his knowledge in stocks is on par with an investment banker. In episode 44 he covered and explained every area of stocks in detail. He covered REIT’s, ETF’s, Indexed funds, he explained his strategy in evaluating a company to know if it's a good stock to buy, he explained how to set up a stock account for a child and much more. @Anonymous day trading & swing/long term investing are 2 different animals. If your trading long term, as he does, it's much easier to make money. The market is better suited for the long term investing. Day trading requires a strategy, that will allow you to profit from short swings up or down in a stock.

The media is currently barraged with a lot of economic data right now. It takes a lot to see beyond the whole ocean of news on focus on what is important, which is that no matter how low stocks go, they always bounce back. I really ignore all the news and keep investing. I recently allocated about $121k to put in the market as we anticipate a crash. Any recommendations?
Be careful not to jump into trading without any proper training because it can be very detrimental. Many folks jump into trading only to suffer great loss at the very beginning. Do not try to imitate advice you get on the internet. Better still, ask questions. Get the services of a professional stock expert or a licensed broker.

I personally don't like engaging in those mundane decisions, so I just allow a wealth manager do them for me. Been doing that since 2020, and have pulled in a cumulative of more than $213k.

I'm really between the devil and the deep blue sea, is this really a good time to buy? Folks are screaming "Dead cat bounce" Do I just wait and buy after continuation after rally when things go back down? Reason being that the entirety of their skillset revolves around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using a portfolio-advisor for about 2years+ and I've netted over 1.5million.

That’s the thing about the acquisition of new knowledge and wisdom, you have to take time to process what you’ve just learned in order to ascend to a higher level of consciousness. It’s what I would call a “WHOA” moment, a moment of enlightenment, if you will.
It’s like an inductive process where you’re expanding your foundational base of knowledge to build the next level above it; I think the pause or getting quiet on their part when he mentioned his daughters investment was analogous to a computer mandatorily rebooting itself after downloading new software. You can’t apply the knowledge until after you’ve processed it 🤷🏾♂️

I'm a 49 year old U.S. Army retiree (1988-2008) and I was definitely intrigued and impressed with this young mans story, knowledge, and awesome insight. I own a couple of real estate properties (free/clear), but I'm not big on stock market investing (as he mentioned in the segment about people seeing it as not being tangible) but I have dabbled in it a bit. Investing in the stock market does seem intimidating (when you're not knowledgeable) but I may look more into his training for a better understanding. His analogies (the lion) was on point and it made so much sense when broken down and explained. One of the best podcast episodes I've ever watched/listened to. Hopefully he will be back soon. Cool thread here, reading how the brothers recognized that there are options that involve moving outside of your particular Circle. Sometimes it's best to move on but you can expand your circle and bring those who want to learn along with you. These brothers on this video are speaking real knowledge and Truth. As a 61 year old man from Detroit I can tell you how things in the hood could have been if I hadn't chosen to go a different path. Learning is always the key.
These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.

Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $21k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

He’s more of a business financials investor. He looks for value. The problem with options traders is the IV crush related to earnings. As an options trader, I rather sell contracts rather than buy them. Especially right before earnings when expectations are high and premiums are elevated.
