The art for this video is so beautiful, I'm amazed at how your animation has developed. Thank you for letting me work on the music for this one (and sorry for all the delays (´;ω;`) )
actually, this reminds me of land before time, watched that growing up, it's like watching the characters as real living creatures but in the similar art yet you are doing so much more then telling us a story, it's like taking a film that somehow was recovered from that time and animating it for people to enjoy the wonderful art and learn about the dinosaurs (ik that this might not be the exact way they behaved but watching the creatures of our childhood or just mine to come to life in a way is honestly what i needed)
I feel an odd amount of respect whenever I see animals as truly ancient as these. Its easy to almost idolize them as the progenitors of everything that would eventually be life on Earth, and its especially inspiring seeing them so beautifully animated like this. Once again you have exceeded expectations
That we know off. And in terms of Paleo-accuracy it's only our perception of how scientist guess _Dimetrodon_ looked in life. Such is the case with most ancient life on this planet.
I have never seen any animator that captures the movements of animals as perfectly as you do. All of the subtle movements of the arms and heads are exactly 1-1 to how real animals move. A lot of animations, even ones trying to be realistic, tend to over animate their animals and simplify their behaviors. But with your stuff, I swear my pet leopard gecko walks exactly like that diplocaulus at the beginning. The first little half-step, then slowly moving its other legs, pushing the body forward slowly and lazily, its all just... I can't properly put into words how satisfyingly well animated all of it is. You have a keen eye for animal movement, and an amazing talent. Incredible work.
videos like this help me realize that even through deep time we share connections with long extinct creatures that inhabited the same planet we do. the saw the relatively same sunrise, sunset…. the thunder and rain they heard is the same thunder and rain we hear now…
@azrielmoha6877 oh i know, that’s what i meant. i worded that badly tho. i meant that Dimetrodon is often mistaken for a dinosaur but was actually so far removed from them that they’re more closely related to us
The simplicity, yet the intuitive touch you have for something that none of us have really seen, but still may reside in our oldest memories. This is the best.
The absolute fluidity and yet consistent form of these creatures astounds me to no end. I've tried animating, and it's a wobbly mess of agony. When I see stuff like this, I am simply blown away in admiration.
I love these. They ignite my imagination and make me contemplative? It’s overwhelming to imagine every life to have passed in the time earth has existed. Thank you for making these
1:38 the way he runs from the bg to the front of the scene and scares the crocodilian off!!!(or a mimic of a crocodilian) And the way he shaked his head in the very beginning like he was waving of insects that bothered him I love everything about your animations, the attention to detail is phenomenal!!!
Our planet has always been really beautiful, even when allmost unknown reptiles ruled the world. This is why we must stop our wars and go "Green" - to show our children how wonderful is the world they are entrying! ❤
I always feel incredibly happy when I see pre-mesozoic animals getting attention in paleo media, they've been overshadowed by the terrible lizards for far too long.
What’s fascinating about this one to me is how rigid you made dimetrodon’s sail. Like it makes sense but I kinda never thought of it moving as one shape, but it’s really cool to look at, as well as being alien and fascinating. Love love love.
Seriously why hasn't anyone hired you yet?! (unless you want to be an independent animator which is understandable) besides your animation is really beautiful and well done! You are seriously underrated and deserve more subs!
I love this so much. The desolate, dry landscape of the early Permian gives off this raw primordial aura even stronger than the Mesozoic’s. Excellent job.
Thank you very much for making these, really it gives me feels I don't get while watching paleodocumentaries, it's so calming and let me enjoy how beautiful life was back then.

This is great. I'm leaving a comment so it gets more views.
I agree so ill do the same

finally accurate dimetrodon animation
That we know off. And in terms of Paleo-accuracy it's only our perception of how scientist guess _Dimetrodon_ looked in life. Such is the case with most ancient life on this planet.
The Diplocaulus is the scrunkly.
The scrunkliest
my scrunkly
The lil skrunkle Skrimblo Dippy
"I miss the good old days..."
"What, like, 10 years ago?"
"No, I mean 300 million."
Very soothing atmosphere, I love it!

Why do all of your animations make me feel like I'm going cry? 💔
Same. I'm fighting tears too
We're crying because our synapsid ancestor died millions of years ago, and this animation shows the testament of life
1:08 absolutely awesome foreshadowing!
Congratulations on 1000 subs!
Thank you! It's a real honour, never thought I'd make it!
It’s really nice watching these animals just being animals in a realistic, relaxing way.
So this channel is what the toothless meme was trying to show me. Love the diplo in the beginning, adorable.
What toothless meme bud has nothing to do with the Permian times
@@mig2fiveyou weren’t here when the meme was at it’s prime. for that reason you will simply never be able to comprehend my comment
@@Malboop that one from Cas recap cartoon
@@mig2five indeed
Love that flash of light. Atmospheric and beautiful, as usual.
It pains me to see that people like this guy who have real talent UA-cam just decides not to recommend and it just goes unrecognized
This is beautiful. I particularly like the background colours
it’s so crazy that we humans are more closely related to *Dimetrodon* than any dinosaur
Dimetrodon are not dinosaurs though. They're synapsids

This is extremely pleasant!
Thank you for making this!
I love your videos
i love your animations so muchhh
DINOSAUR ANIMATORS AAA
You are genuinely amazing, excellent framing and use of space
Ohhh this is so good, your way of representing paleo critters is so refreshing! And the movements n backgrounds are amazing?!
I love the pacing of your animations so much. You let each scene breath and the fluidity of the animals is so wonderful!
This is so great. The perspective on the dimetrodon especially is so impressive and the fluid animations feel like candy
Love the idea of this. Trying to imagine other times. Times incomprehensible for the human scale.
Beautiful, fluid animation!
I love these. They ignite my imagination and make me contemplative? It’s overwhelming to imagine every life to have passed in the time earth has existed. Thank you for making these

I think that's some kind of Trematosaurinae. They were amphibians, but they had a crocodile-like body. So yeah, a "mimic of a crocodilian.".
Very peaceful, quite nicely animated
And congratulations on 1K!
Our planet has always been really beautiful, even when allmost unknown reptiles ruled the world. This is why we must stop our wars and go "Green" - to show our children how wonderful is the world they are entrying! ❤
Dimetrodon looks like a square and a semicircle stacked on top each other
Your work deserves so much more recognition, thank you for making these..
This animation is just so perfect, hope it'll be the video that will blow up as the years pass..
I always feel incredibly happy when I see pre-mesozoic animals getting attention in paleo media, they've been overshadowed by the terrible lizards for far too long.
I screamed 'NOOOOOO I WANT MORE' when it ended
You're really good at capturing animal behavior, they move in such an animal way, awesome!!
i would watch a show of just this. ancient creatures walking around with nice music
What’s fascinating about this one to me is how rigid you made dimetrodon’s sail. Like it makes sense but I kinda never thought of it moving as one shape, but it’s really cool to look at, as well as being alien and fascinating. Love love love.

I wanna just sit in this world and watch the sunset for an hour
Thank you for this beautiful creation!
I love this so much. The desolate, dry landscape of the early Permian gives off this raw primordial aura even stronger than the Mesozoic’s. Excellent job.
Excellent!!
Gorgeous work. I love how this feels like a slice of life instead of just a focus on predator/prey relationships.
Wow, nice tails! 👌
Holy Cow your work is amazing. I subscribed within the first minute of watching this. Please continue to take your time and make stuff like this. 😀
Awesome bro, i like the color palette is great!!! and the animation uffffff is so fluid and well worked
Good Year
I love this. The colors are perfect. Feels as if I'm really looking back at a fading memory. 😊
Man. New favorite channel! Sort of feel sorry for our lil Dimetrodon, I hope it was able to snag dinner elsewhere
Thank you very much for making these, really it gives me feels I don't get while watching paleodocumentaries, it's so calming and let me enjoy how beautiful life was back then.
Good prehistoric animation
So cute and calming, I love it
Very sweet, I love the dimensions of your Dimetrodon. Good morning! ☀️❤
such a peaceful an eerily intense scene.
Like nature it’s a battlefield with a beautiful side.
This inspires to imagine what the Earth would look like if they weren't wiped out.
The paleozoic era was truly bizarre and wonderful.
Beautiful
Love how you chose to fade dimetrodon into the background scenery in some of your scenes ❤ lovely effect.
You made something so beautiful and peaceful again. Thank you for sharing!! Your videos are amazing
I love your animations so much
SO F*CKING GOOD
That bug thing looked like the ancestor of both katydids(or locusts) and mantises
Impressive. The designs look simple (can't blame you) yet the animation and movement looks so real!
Absolutely stunning!👍
Great job. Good luck to you and creative success.
beautiful animation, made me cry for some reason, thank you for sharing your art
This is so beautiful, my mouth on the floor
THIS IS AWESOME. It’s rare to see a paleo-animation who represents other periods than the Mesozoic.
This is mesmerising
