I am currently enrolled in abc grooming program and have completed 80 hrs of my externship thus far and as far as the the schools it is a great program covers far more than just grooming info. I enjoy doing the externship and i am learning alot! I'm in the process of purchasing a box trailer and everything needed to start my own mobile grooming business! Exciting! Good luck to all who choose to take this program and choose grooming as a career!
Aw that's awesome & I can't for my toolkit to arrive, I started yesterday,.. Yes I got my own dog too,..& hands-on training can't wait for that, Like a groomer salon or animal shelters :)
Cool(: i have enjoyed it and I think you will too! The externship is definitely fun and I learned a lot. Hope to post an update video in the next few days
I'm in my 3rd year of college but I'm completely lost on what to study. :( I just want a career with animals, but I didn't do so well in science. Would anyone recommend trying this ABC out for someone in my position?
mijumaru97 it's a great program, I would recommend to everyone (: I was about average in science class in school but I love animals too so it's great for sure.
Hi Ashlyn. How did the whole training go? I would totally love to hear what you thought about your training and overall experience. If you did a video on in it would be even awesome-er lol.
Hi! I really appreciate your video. I was trying to enter and and get my veterinarian assistant license with them and I was wondering if they check any of your high school grades and stuff like that, also if I would get a license for real or is this just so you get more knowledge when entering the career. Hope you find some time to answer. Thanks
did u get to pick the colors of ur equipment? as a male groomer to be i would prefer not to have all the pinks and purples, more blacks, blues and such, did they give u options or just sent u what they had?
So this has been a year ago! How's it going for you with the grooming? Have you had clients? I'm looking to get into the program soon so I'm curious! :) Thank you
Liliana Tavera I haven't done much grooming since then, I have been trying to figure out what I wanted to do whether it was grooming in a shop or mobile grooming or something else. But the program is great , I enjoyed it. I like so many things and I want to make sure I choose the career that works best and that I like best.
This is from 2016 and i dont know if you will respond but I had a question :) Do you get the bag with everything in it after you graduate or do you get it when you first begin? I was planning on doing it online and I didnt know if I would need to get my own stuff or not?
Hey i have a question i want to enroll on that same college but im kind of scared og failing the enter exam was it hard for you is there alot of questions ive been out of school for a very long time to im really scared not to pass
It is mainly an online school, but I'm currently doing my internship at a local salon. Then I'll take my exam and after that I should graduate/receive a certificate.
Its a great school, ive learned a lot. There is so much to know about Grooming and the other careers they offer. They work with you good and help you when you need it. There is a good amount of time given for each stage but you can ask for an extension if you need more time before a test. I have enjoyed it , about to start the internship soon. The books give you a lot of good information so i like it .
Rebecca Paredes it was challenging but not too hard. I think it's a great program. You learn a lot , you get so much Information about the breeds and grooming tools, etc.

Juana Lopez There is no exam, just an interview with the admissions person. As long as you understand and speak English you will be okay. ☺️
did you go online or to an actual school?
It is mainly an online school, but I'm currently doing my internship at a local salon. Then I'll take my exam and after that I should graduate/receive a certificate.
How was your progress so far and also how much did you pay for the program?
Rebecca Paredes it gives you an average price on the website , I think it was around 4,000 to 6,000 .
how do you apply to ABC's programs? I want to take their grooming and vet assistant programs
Kendra Peggs you should be able to find it online by just searching animal behavioral college
Yes its on the website, sorry for the very late reply.
Is this college actually legit? I'm worried it's a scam

It went by fast (:
Is it legit? Can you use the certification anywhere?
I think you can , should be able to .
Also was it hard?
Rebecca Paredes it was challenging but not too hard. I think it's a great program. You learn a lot , you get so much Information about the breeds and grooming tools, etc.
