They designed this watch so that the charging connectors and constantly against your sweaty wrist, which will naturally corrode the connectors! It was a way for them to make more money on repair!

Just fitted my new charging connector piece. Easy job, took about 5 minutes, including a full clean. Thanks to your awesome video. Cheers.

I believe it's water-resistant but after a while the sweat from your wrist deteriorates the connections
Correct. He didn't replace the gasket, only the connector. With no gasket around the connector, it is no longer waterproof.
