Warm it up and it pour it into a candle holder or glass jar. If you save several used candles and melt the little bit up on the bottom up and put it all in one all you have to do is purchase some candle wick and you have a new candle. You can do this with all your old candles. Make your own.

To be honest.... Most honey that you but off the shelf in your groceries stores is a mixture of honey and corn syrup, or honey and some other crap/chemical. This started happening a long time ago to keep up with "demand" and to make an even bigger profit. So I've stopped buying honey all around. Same as maple syrup. The only way you'd know for sure that your buying %100 pure honey is straight from the honey farm.

    • @bananabread349
      @bananabread349 4 роки тому +10

ZRAM ZRAM it’s not corn syrup. It’s “honey” made from clovers. So basically, honey made from flowers. I like it and it’s a cheaper alternative. Also it’s good for dietary restrictions like vegan.

Most if not all of the food items they sell list the ingredients so a quick check of this should clear up any questions of what ur buying. Most if that stuff is actually cheaper at Walmart, especially when u compare the size (quantity) of each item...that’s not to say though that they don’t have certain items that ur just not gonna find anywhere else for the small price of a dollar. Not knocking them, or anyone here, but it’s simple to just quickly read what ur buying and u shouldn’t get duped.

4:13 - I’m an accountant, I got you. First calculation is correct - 8.5 oz of 6% olive oil gets you 0.51 oz of 100% olive oil for $1. I couldn’t tell how many oz were in the second bottle, so I looked at the one I have of the same brand, which is 16.9 oz. If this is the size of your bottle then you are getting just over 1 oz for $1. In order for your calculation to be correct on the second bottle (1.5 oz for $1) the bottle would have to contain 24 oz.
Regardless, judging by the way the bottles look in the video, you’re getting more actual olive oil for your $ from the grocery store bottle. Hope that helps!

When the burn is done, the leftover wax should come out easily. It works for me. Can’t take credit but can’t give credit either because I saw the tip years ago and forget where. Try it, it works! 😊Hi, we enjoy your show, educating us on the Dollar Store. I remember my grandmother telling us you only get what you pay for. In some cases it's true. I seen you with the candle in the jar, add some water just enough to get the bottom wet. Then get a butter knife break up the melted candle. 🤗Thank you for advising us on different products. Especially the electrical that can spark or catch on fire. This made so much sense. 🤗THANK YOU again...............

Some of the tools are great at Dollar Tree. The levels work well, as do the tape measures and small screwdriver sets, which are awesome for opening battery compartments on cordless lights and toys and more. The hammers are handy for when you need to hang pictures instead of parking in the huge Home Depot lot, walking up to the store while being careful not to get jabbed by people wheeling heavy-duty steel carts filled with lumber, paying much more for a hammer, then exiting through the door away from where you parked, trying to locate your Toyota from the eighty others that look just like it. For simple repairs, all the tools are pretty good. I wouldn't attempt a huge project with them, but they do the job when needed.

I picked up a few things in the Dollar Tree Hardware section. The screwdrivers were also fine as extras for simple things. I’m not building a house or furniture, I’m just doing the simplest of things like hanging a picture or screwing legs back onto things since the move. I know it might be extra work, but if you put a coat of clear Elmers glue on your candle it should helpl control the drip and the burn from what I have on how to make dripless candles. As the cables for phone chargers you do have a point, but those cables have saved me when I was in a bind. I think that goes with the hardware there are things in there that will get someone one a budget to do simple things. One thing I think from the hardware area that should come with a warning label are their mock command hooks. I used them once and when removing them they take everything off they were attached to such paint or shelving paper. As for the oil if you go to other discount stores or check the prices you can get a 12-16oz bottle of olive oil for around $3-5. I rarely will spend over $7 for the size of bottle you paid $15 for. With silverware it does pay to shop around I myself am Leary of metals because they do collect in your body if they aren't what they say they are or if the underlying material is exposed. I recently bought a 20pc set from wal mart for $11.00. I think its great you're doing these videos, because you're doing a lot of leg work for us.

D fact that u have to explain "I hope u have....day", just shows the level of entitlement self obsessed people have these days. What happen to take what belongs to u n leave d rest...I cant.

ABSOLUTELY! It's like she swore at us and said some nasty thing! If you want to get angry about a kind offering then maybe keep it to yourself. Kallie obviously doesn't mean ANY harm.

I love that quote. Take what belongs to you and leave the rest. That is what’s wrong with everyone. They don’t know how to filter out what is important for them and then only.

Sheila Bear You don’t have to defend all of the products she spoke of. She is just telling us/showing us what Her experience is with these items. She is giving an honest and mature assessment of some products. If you’re not having a problem with the silverware, then you are one in a million because they are pieces of crap that rust, pit and bend. Do your own video on a DT haul and we’ll see how many people agree with you.

@@riceflowershea8748 I don't think she was necessary defending the products just for the sake of defending them. I think it was more along the lines of saying those items are not always a bust, that sometimes they are worth buying and someone might have been interested in getting one of them but is worried it'll be a waste of time. I myself havnt had those problems with there votive candles I buy them alot and there silverware at my stores are always sturdy and havnt had issues with rust as if yet. Not all dollor tree's are the same and as well sometimes a product is good one place but not another. There have been times I got a product I regularly buy and for some reason occasionally the one I bought isn't up to standard. Idk I think sometimes its hit or miss. And she should be able to say whatever she wants in her comment as long as it isn't disrespectful or mean, that's what the comments are for.

In the hardware section the tool hangers are excellent. You get multiple for a dollar and they can hold heavy shovels, rakes, etc. They bend easily but only if youre trying to bend them. They support the weight of tools without bending and that is what is important.

I freeze the spoons and use them to reduce puffiness on my eyes. Not bad for a dollar.

For the bendable silverware, a floating tea cup is beautiful.

The silverware can be good for parties so you look fancy and then you can just get rid of it and I use them for my little siblings bc they are harsh but they haven't bent

You can drill a hole in the handle part, and bend it for any kind of a hook, like for a towel in kitchen or bathroom or coat hook, then screw several in a board for anything you want to hang
