Love creative setup. Does the sound card have ADAT in? [If yes, then you could get a Behringer ada8000 and get all output directly to your DAW with 1 adat-cable for post processing]

@@beatsheika Dbx vca chip even like this cheap alesis will always sound better than daw compressor. No doubt digital emulation are just emulation of real world things. Pretty different in physics.
@@vubeatzin fact mixers from behringer was straight rip offs of Mackies design. Mackie designs with same components were really respected as the best bang for bucks in pro budget studios. Even to this day behringer do a lot of analog circuitry. They do it in mass with recycling existing design but are not obsolete design they are in fact cheap to buy but quality oriented equipment at a high cost efficiency production scheme.

Very nice setup I got laughed for using Behringer compressors in my setup with my mpc 3000 until people heard the finished product

have you tried eq'ing samples BEFORE you sample them? as in... adding the chain before you sample it

Behringer stuff is MORE than good enough for 90% of people. A cheap hardware compressor will always sound better than the software version of it.

You think Behringer stuff is any good ? Heard lot of complains, especially for cheap compressors
