Foot in touch when he received the ball. Should be "no try"
If I remember rightly they replayed this loads of times and determined his foot was off the floor and therefore gave the try. Can't really see from this clip as it does look like foot in touch.
@@SuperNictastic Left foot much have been in touch as he used it to lever himself forward once he'd caught the ball and propelled forward over the tryline.. No try but as the title suggests he was lucky.. (that the ref couldn't see the screen clearly enough perhaps).
you can play it in slow mo using youtube here - foot is clearly still grounded in touch when ball is touched. typical rugby union shit officiating.
