The most honourable remembrance for those who served, for those who gave up their limbs, scarred their mental health, and/or who made the ultimate sacrifice on foreign soil, is for every one of us in present day to refuse to give up our sovereign rights and freedoms. This is the very thing that these men and women fought and died for. Thank you to every one of them. Its up to us to never allow their sacrifices to have been in vain.
This comment is in memory of my nanny ,uncle, friend,cat ,and just this is a song I am singing in my school choir for remembrance day I am singing it in front of 900, people and I am only 12yr old with me luck because I cried today when I was singing it god bless you all and if your going through something remember your not alone.
We all need to respect our fallen that gave there lives for you me and everyone if it was not for there sacrifice me you my daughter would not be here God bless them all 🙏🙏✝️✝️💖💖💖

😮oh my!!!!! I can’t stop listening to this song over and over again. Will be teaching it to our little children’s choir for our Memorial Day Service at church. Can’t forget the sacrifices they made 🇺🇸
Im doing this song for school, my grandfather died in war before i was born so i never even got to see him😢

My father died fighting in the Canadian army in 1943 when I was 2. When I see that my generation have so easily given up freedom, I wish he had never gone. We are not worthy of their sacrifice.
I feel the same about my shell shocked great uncles. And my grandmother's cousin who died on the beach of Normandy.
So sorry for your loss, and sorry you feel this way.

My great Uncle/ Grandfather Al fought in Vimy Ridge. I never got to know him for I was born in 1954. I think about him often and I think about the horrible atrocities of the war in his time, the things he endured. I can not even begin to truly understand the hell he and so many others endured to give us our home and our FREEDOM. GOD BLESS these soldiers. May they rest in peace. May we never forget, in Jesus name, Amen.😭💞

Thanks a lot for this awesome Interpretation. My father was in St Malo in a submarine. His father in Verdun as the head of the rescue dogs. Both told me a lot what happened in war. My grandma and mother too. All very special people, fighting for love and peace as our family is worldwide spread. The loneliness of the long distance runner seams to be the main topic of our tribe, especially for me. As I am the only and last one to remain here ... in a country called Germany. As a stranger in a strange country; or even a foreigner in a ... whatever. Take good care about yourself my dear

Remember that right now our soldiers risk their lives on training exercises and peacetime deployments, my Friend Pte Anderson died on the side of a road in Wainwright from a vehicle accident while blackout driving on exercise. We die not only during war but in the preparation to defend you.
