    Awhile back UA-cam chose to include my video in one of their mixes. I am humbled, and grateful. I consider this "an amazing compliment" to the heart and hard work that went in to 'Soldier's Light' and as an unknown artist. Although this "thank you" may never reach them, I still want to express my gratitude and what this has meant to me. Being included with the amazing songs, and artists, in this mix is again truly humbling. Thank you UA-cam and G+ :) Rylee.

      No thank you if you hadn't done what you did we would never have seen you there and UA-cam would never have included you so it takes two to tango and you're one of the two Tango partners, I hope this makes sense to you I'm using voice to text my hands do not work, not well at least, you are truly amazing.

    I showed my daughter this song before I left my fourth and final deployment. And told her that the light right by the front door inside will always stay on until I come home. I ended up surprising her. She came home from school and saw that the light was off and she turned it on. And I came around the corner and said hey you better leave that light off I’m home already. And she went into tears and jumped into my arms. Thank you for such a beautiful soul and giving my daughter. Hope that I always come home.

    Today is the 1st time I've heard this song. Rylee you have moved me to tears, it blows me away a young lady your age has this kind of compassion for our troops and the brothers we lost. While bringing back some pretty painful memories it is comforting knowing we are not forgotten. Many of us live everyday with much pain long after the battle field has fallen silent. There are not words to express my feelings of appreciation for your compassion. Thank you very much.

    I came across this song today and it brings me to tears. It reminds me of my Marines friend/brother Cpl Rodd who passed away July 30, 2020 during a training exercise when the amphibious vehicle sank with him and 6 other Marines and 1 Sailor still inside. My Marine son called to let me know he was okay, Incase I had heard about the accident. I could hear in his voice that something was wrong. He proceeded to tell me about the accident and that one of his good friends was one of the Marines who went down with the amphibious vehicle. My heart broke for all the families who got that dreaded knock on the door that every military family fears. But it broke my heart even more when my Marine told me Cpl Rodd had a newborn son that will never know his daddy. I wanted to bust out in tears but I knew I had to be strong for my son who was hurting. As a mom you want to take that pain away but you learn being a military mom especially a Marine mom that all you can do is listen and be there for them day or night. There’s not a day that goes by that my Marine doesn’t think about his friend, his friends newborn son and the brothers he lost that day.
    Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice Rest In Peace Marines and Sailor 🇺🇸
    Cpl. Wesley A. Rodd, 23, of Harris, Texas, who left behind a wife and a newborn son.
    Pfc. Bryan J. Baltierra, 19, of Corona, California;
    Lance Cpl. Marco A. Barranco, 21, of Montebello, California;
    Pfc. Evan A. Bath, 19, of Oak Creek, Wisconsin;
    Pfc. Jack Ryan Ostrovsky, 21, of Bend, Oregon;
    Lance Cpl. Chase D. Sweetwood, 19, of Portland, Oregon;
    Cpl. Cesar A. Villanueva, 21, of Riverside, California.
    Lance Cpl. Guillermo S. Perez, 19, of New Braunfels, Texas was pronounced dead at the scene.
    U.S. Navy Hospitalman Christopher Gnem, 22, of Stockton, California;
    Eight other Marines were rescued.
    All of the Marines aboard were attached to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit of the 1 Marine Expeditionary Force, based at nearby Camp Pendleton

    There aren't too many things in this world that can move me to tears. The birth of my daughter definite tear jerker moment. Burying soldiers I served with. I can watch soldier family reunions all day long and be reduced to just an emotional pile skin. From the bottom of this old Army dogs heart and soul Rylee, absolutely beautiful song. I would give it all up right now to have just one of my brothers back. Keep that daughters love and patriotism burning brightly. I'm honored to have been able to hear this.

      Laura Armand A song like this brings the emotions and memories rushing to the front of your brain like a bullet train no matter how hard you try block it. For a long period of time I refused to talk about things because if I didn't talk about it then I could pretend things didn't happen, if that makes any sense to you. It wasn't until a buddy of mine killed himself and I was tooling around UA-cam for a song to dedicate at his memorial and I stumbled across this song. I just couldn't stop the tears.

    'SOLDIERS IN HEAVEN' We are Casting for my New Music Video
    Tribute 'Soldiers in Heaven' If you are, or know someone who is active duty, served, retired veterans, all branches men and
    woman. Featured roles and back ground rolls, we are looking for a lot of volunteers to be in the video.
    This new tribute is 2x the budget we had for Soldiers Light and I want it to be a really great project to be apart of. Must be in the Los Angele area and available August 15,16,17. We will have a military consultant so we are looking for authentic volunteers.
    We need them to come dressed for the role, dressed to represent.
    We will also be portraying other wars, so volunteers that could come dressed Civil War, WWI, etc, please get in touch and let the producer know what you can offer. We will have some wardrobe for volunteers without uniforms.
    This is next weekend so please share this post and help us find a great Military cast :) I told the Producer "I got this" so lets blow up his email with a serious and authentic cast of volunteers.
    Our Goal is to get as close as possible to an all military cast and crew. We will be donating portions of the proceeds to selected charities.
    If selected more information will be provided.
    email the producer @ soldiersinheaven@gmail.com Rylee :)

      @@kkann9327 I am sorry about your sister and your bf. No there aren't many people to talk to about death. Unless someone goes through it they don't understand it. Did your bf die too? Fortunately not many people lose a child. Think about this, my wife said this to me for a speech I did at a gold star event last spring. She said "when you lose a family member life will never be the same, life will be different. Without our loved one we will have to learn to live life in a different way. We will walk forward in life despite carrying the heartache of losing our loved on". Loosing our son was the last thing I ever expected children aren't supposed to die before their parents. Have a good day.

    I am balling like a baby listening to this. As a Desert Storm Veteran, I proudly served. My Dad fought in Vietnam, and my Grandpa in WWII. I have 2 children who are proudly serving as Officers in the Air Force...I also have a cousin who retired after 23 years in the Special Forces. I salute all of you that are serving right now and to all the Veterans out there, my prayers are with you...to the ones that have fallen in the tour of duty, I pray to God that they are doing well in Heaven...Thank you

    My dad served in the British Army vs IRA, my grandfather and other families have fought other wars like WW2 and WW1. I might not be in the army myself but I’m proud to be their daughter, granddaughter etc. They served our country proud. Too bad the country isn’t doing good now.

    I'm a retired military man after 22 years of service. Being out there is hard, but I had a strong wife back home that kept the kids safe and left the light on for me. When we come back, we bring "baggage" and having someone at home that doesn't ask questions, doesn't care what happened, and is only happy you have come home is the best healing magic you can hope for. That song spoke volumes about the brave men and women not on the battle lines, but still battling back at home for us to have a place to come back to. Well done!

    My only son who happens to be my bestfriend is in the Army. I miss seeing his face and talking to him everyday. I havent been the same since he left...i think about him constantly. What I wouldn't give to be able to rewind the hands of time and just be holding him on my lap with his blankey and bunny blue.
    I love u Joey!

    This bring me to tears, my Dad was a transporter, one day while we await his return home we've that he had an accident that claim his life, I was 14years then, the news sounded like a joke, that even after a very long time I still wish that one day he would just walk in through the day, I long to hear his voice console me and cheers me on, I long for his pat on my shoulders and tell me how well I have done while he was away,,, my momma did all she could to keep us together,,,, I love my mom and I still miss my Dad, it's been 22years.

Always remember your dad is looking down and helping you to walk on GODS path to Heaven to be with him again !!
