Are ya‘ll excited for Gxk ? What excites you the most about the movie ?
For me, it’s probably Mothra returning. I grew up with the Rebirth of Mothra trilogy before even knowing Godzilla so im pretty excited for her return. But im also curious on how Shimo is going to look like, since the Playmates figure makes me a little skeptical about if he‘s going to even look cool
I know a lot of people aren’t that excited for GxK but I am. In fact, it’s probably the movie I’m most excited for this year. Godzilla’s new appearance is really cool, and Skar King seems absolutely awesome and I’m excited to see him for the first time. I think these two things are what I’m most excited for. I agree, Shimo doesn’t seem that cool from the images we already have of him.
Also I didn’t even know Mothra was returning, that’s awesome! Guess I’ll add that to the list of things I’m really excited about for this movie

I can‘t remember any other Titans death to be sadder than Mothra‘s. Kong‘s parents died, but we don’t know them well enough to have an emotional connection to there deaths. While many loved Mothra and she just dies to save a friend and the earth.

I think plot twist is for Godzilla king of king of the monsters because i think nobody was expecting to see Thermonuclear Godzilla,A skeleton of an anguirus in godzilla's underwater temple,New kaijus like Methuselah and behemoth,The oxygen destroyer from the first film"Godzilla(1954)",The queen of all mutos,Queen muto literally bowing down to Godzilla even though mutos had a history of Beefing with godzilla,even the appearance of USS ARGO(in the trailer itself),Even the full strenght and power of Legendary King Ghidorah,Ghidorah frozen in antartica(Monarch outpost 32),The frozen Ghidorah was the teaser for Shimo or Shimu an ice version of godzilla who help Gman to freeze ghidorah,most important is that it was the film where Ghidorah's head regeneration was introduced in all Godzilla films,The first ever ghidorah to do an alpha roar,etc etc etc.

This is an epic and nostalgic edit. It's actually too hard to choose between these two. I enjoy gvk slightly more but I want to say kotm. Serizawa's sacrifice, godzilla's entrance in boston, the intimidating presence of ghidorah, his rivalry with godzilla, mothra's death and rodan's awakening were all done perfectly. Had the fight scenes actually been a little longer and had there been less human drama during the boston sequence, my answer would have been definitive.
