Now what if we combined it with another super amazing oil? Can you imagine what that can do for your skin?
    But of course, we need to be sure that both oils go together well and do not cause any irritations simply because their properties clash. So today, I am sharing with you another fantastic presentation of what I have gathered so far simply because I know that we all have to make the most of what there is so let’s go!

    Coconut is 4 on the comdogenic scale. Castor is 1. I would use an oil with 0 with castor oil to not clog pores. The scale goes up to 5.

      Wow! I have to try apricot oil! Does it smell sweet like the fruit? There are so many of you who have mentioned frankincense oil. It must be really good!! I agree, 1 is to 1 is good because you still get a lot of castor oil onto your skin while being able to dilute it well. Thanks so much for watching my video and supporting my channel ❤️ XOX You are amazing!

      @@JackieDiy I'm using unrefined apricot oil (Starwest Botanicals)and MCT oil to cut my castor oil; I do a castor 50%, MCT 25%, Apricot 25%. The apricot is pretty neutral, maybe a little fruitiness. It's working out quite well so far. I'm looking at adding sesame oil to this combo. I do have some essential frankincense but don't know a ratio. If anyone know how many drops to use in an ounce, I would be grateful.

      @pennypotter4857 hi Penny!!! Thanks for chiming in! I remember a few comments that suggested frankincense oil. Apparently it is very good! Hopefully, we'll get some wonderful peeps to share their info! Generally, reports show that 1 drop of frankincense oil is recommended when being added to castor oil. I appreciate your feedback and support. Thanks so much!!!💓

    I have used pure organic castor oil for my eczema palms more than 1 month . Whole day repeatedly if i could remember. With aloe vera gel. However i noticed back of my hand getting very wrinkly. So it too long duration or excessive?

    • @JackieDiy

      Hi Jojo! Did you say you were applying the oil on your palms? Maybe the wrinkles on your hand may now look more pronounced because your palms have become way smoother? Prolonged use of castor oil is recommended. 😊

    • @JackieDiy

      Hi Ange! Your question really made me think because even if we make our own skincare products (I make my own papaya mask), the fresh papaya fruit is most likely sprayed with insecticide. You're awesome by doing research. I'd think the best way is to just use products with the least harmful ingredients. I actually have a list of these toxins that my doctor gave me and I can share that with you. Feel free to email me at wishuponapond@gmail.com for the list. Meanwhile, here is a link I found:

    What is the ratio for mixing castor oil and jojoba oil

    • @JackieDiy
      @JackieDiy  3 місяці тому +3

      Hey there! 👋 Thanks for watching and for your question. During the first month, I did 1:6 (1 drop castor to 6 drops jojoba). I did this because my skin is used to jojoba but it was the first time for me to use castor oil so I was very cautious. I did that every night. Now I use 1:2. I like that jojoba makes the castor oil easier to apply. 😊

      Hey there! Thanks so much for watching and for your feedback. I know that walnut is among the top 5 healthiest foods to eat (and they're so good) but I have to research about it used as a healing oil. I'll look into it and get back otherwise castor oil is great for sore joints especially if applied to the soles of the feet. Apply on the soles and wrap with a cotton based wrap. Keep me posted pls! 💗

    Do you have advice for getting rid of under eye bags?

    • @JackieDiy
      @JackieDiy  6 місяців тому +1

      Hello hun! Thanks so much for watching and for your question. I'm glad you asked because I posted a video or two a while back about how to get rid of under eye bags because I don't get much sleep so my under eye bags can be very bad during those days. Here are my tips and while they may not be permanent, they do help a lot at least during the day: 1. Upon waking up, rinse face with warm water, cleanse, rinse with warm and then rinse with cold. Get one ice cube and rub or dab very lightly on the affected undeeeye bag, as long as your skin can tolerate as we have different skin types so just be careful and do it slowly. This works miraculously! (2) for longer treatment, I use Grace & Stella undereye bag masks. They really work. You can buy them in a box of 3 different types and one of them does extreme hydration. Let me go find my UA-cam video and paste it on here so you don't have to search for it. Cheers and stay beautiful!!!🥰 okie dokie! Pasted the UA-cam link below.

      My son has bad eczema/dermatitis since baby. What mix could work for severe eczema?

    • @JackieDiy
      @JackieDiy  4 місяці тому +1

      @rosanaoliveira6712 hi thank you for your question. What I know is that Eczema is a skin condition that may not be completely healed but you can help treat it and there are reports that when you mix castor oil with almond oil or coconut oil, it helps sooth and treat the Eczema. I do believe in the power of coconut oil too because coconut oil has its own share of anti fungal, anti bacterial and anti microbial properties. The suggested ratio is 1:1. But I will recommend just doing it on a small area of the skin and observe first. These natural remedies are good if they work so please let me know if it does so we can share the good news! 👍 take care and sending you and your son lots of warm regards 💗

    Ye well you can use all the oil in the world to get rid of scalp problems but if your using a shampoo that has ingredients in it that KILLS THE FOLICLE like many many brands do then its useless to use oil to thicken the hair dont you think? Im in search of a shampoo that does not have these ingredients as im looking tons of hair using HEAD AND CRAPPY SHOULDERS. What a useless product. Used to be good many years ago now its totally useless. I can show you the clump of hair in my shower where my hair has fallen out when using H&S. And iv been collecting it for over a year. I could make a wig! NO JOKE! So investigate and give us tips on that.
