Nice reaction. Peter Weller didn’t return for Robocop 3 because of a scheduling conflict. He was already scheduled to film Naked Lunch at the same time that Robocop 3 was being filmed. He wanted to do Robocop 3 but didn’t want to pass up the opportunity on Naked Lunch. He’s brilliant at playing Robocop. Robert John Burke plays him in part 3, but I always felt that he never got the robotic movements and mannerisms down as well as Peter Weller. Weller is the only one who can be Robocop in my opinion.
The "Amazon Nuclear Power Plant" now having a double entendre is hilarious and just occurred to me with this reaction to "Jeff Bezos!". Talk about aging better than fine wine. The original point when the movie came out was simply Babylon Bee level ridiculousness that anyone would build a nuclear power plant in the world's largest rainforest and possibly most important ecological zone. The fact that Amazon the company would build their own nuclear power plant wouldn't surprise anyone post 'Idiocracy' and makes this even more funny to people seeing this for the first time.
The reason for the recast in "RoboCop 3" was because actor Peter Weller was unavailable at the time as he was busy filming another movie called "Naked Lunch". Changing lead actors in movies was common in those days no different to James Bond, Batman, Superman or Spider-Man. "RoboCop 3" isn't all bad as people make it out to be it's abit more kid friendly than the first two but it's ok it's entertaining I still would recommend checking it out don't bother with the 2014 remake it's atrocious most Robo fans try to wipe that one out of our memories.
As kids we luved the first and the second was good comic book fun because of frank miller but still had amazing designs like cain which was super sic like ed 209. part 3 tho didnt even work on us kids, it was pg 13 made for tv junk that only had a few cool things like the jetpack.

I agree with you, the 1st one was the best, it was something new back in the day, in my opinion, they tried to re-create the fight between Robocop & the ED-209 big robot, but with a bigger robot. kinda lame. Still worth watching out of curiosity, but not as good as the first one.
Idk why robocop 2 gets alot of hate its a decent film i say watch the rest of the robocop films and judge for yourself yes the remake is horrible but thats my opinion you guys should watch it you might have a different outlook on it enjoyed your guys reaction!!!!
People really over exaggerate that RC2 isn’t good, its a decent sequel just not as good as the first…its the equivalent of Ghostbusters 1 and 2, the first was great and the 2nd just aint the first, but good…but theres people always crapping on it in peoples comments tells me why the reactors who react to Robocop 2 is so limited, i literally look every few months to see if anyone reacts specifically to robocop 2 and its like one person every 4 months…they highly over exaggerate, the film just turned into a marvel movie in the second 😂 but people hate on it as if it insulted them at times….i mean even the recent video game of RC built the story alot around the 2nd and 1st film cause those are considered the good ones…and peter Weller returned to voice Robocop/Murphy in the game😂, aswell as people consider the game a unofficial 3rd film cause it actually has a good story that fallows after Robocop 2, with people saying it has the best story nxt to the first film
@ lol yup…lol i played through it atleast 3 times since it released and yea lol i said it a year ago after my playthrough that it was a small missed opportunity to not include RC2 music score aswell but something that wasn’t a AAA title it did way more than alot of current day AAA titles do
I love the Leonard Rosenman score to this movie. The music at the beginning when he steps out of the burning car is brilliant and fits the mood perfectly. The score from the first film is great, but I don’t think that the Basil Poledouris score fits the mood and tone of Robocop 2.
I love this sound track aswell….i get why people love the original scores…the miss opportunity i feel is the game that released they had a chance to combine the scores of Robocop 1&2 but stuck with the original score understanding that its the score people have nostalgia for but RB2 has a great score aswell

I love all 3 movies. I watched them all on repeat as a kid along with Terminator 1 and 2 on repeat. 😊 I hope you watch 3 and the remake.

Robocop Rouge City is an awesome video game. I’ve played it over and over again lol. Once the auto 9 is upgraded, that gun is a beast lol

Not bringing back the robocop theme was one of the worst decisions in film history. This film would of gone from a 6/10 to an 8/10
