he's hilarious! and such a nice guy too...I was lucky enough to meet him when i was in NYC back in Feb this year
+MrCrockaG I couldnt agree more. He is a comedy genius; should be a big shot. But lets put it this way: he is big enough to be small.
Higgins is just great at deadpan delivery...He's wittier than people give him credit for, but I notice a lot of his comments don't come off well because either Jimmy is talking over him or you can barely hear him. Plus all the effort he puts into his bits...little details like him making the voice of the wife in the background during the phone conversation sketch.
Well, he has a hard job--coming up with some snide remark for everything that happens within a few seconds. So, a lot of the time it's just bad and makes the bit worse.
that is why his show is at the top among other late night shows . You are the best "JIMMY "

normally improvised during rehearsals (after Jimmy rehearses his monologue) then repeated at the taping
+LovesLifeandLaughs As a big fan, I'd expect you to know better...they improvise on tape, Higgins doesn't do mono. rehearsals...I'm sure you've seen tweets of marvel from the staff when they do a super good one, like the ''want crack w/ that''. Also, they hit & miss sometimes, if they were doing them beforehand, they would perfect them for tape or drop them if they didn't work...wouldn't that be logical?

sorry, memory lapse there...I know Jimmy improvises (alone) in his monologue because I've been to a rehearsal and watched back the same night. You're right, the want some crack with that banter was improvised
