Ah yes...here we are with season Americas...where the whole season is based in the new world and is full of pain for hawk and full of entertainment of us😅🤣
A fun idea might be to head to Asia or the Pacific Islands. Just to keep things interesting. Fighting people you wouldn't normally fight or forming nations you wouldn't usually be able to form is always fun
Actual Cherokee native on my mom's side here. This is a really fun video on what could've been and I’m really glad you enjoyed yourself with it. P.S. The flipping between two leaders, I think it's what’s supposed to happen, as historically we had two chiefs, the White Chief for peace time and the Red Chief when we went to war.
"What could have been" is an illusion and I am getting scared by people actually starting to believe that "this COULD HAVE BEEN", because the gameplay isnt reality. The whole technological advancement wasnt going to happen before natives had contact with europeans ... and even then "nothing much changed", which is the reason why the natives suffered as much as they did. The game developers SADLY "change history for BALANCE" ... to make it possible for "primitives" to have a chance against the technologically advanced europeans, but they dont acknowledge that for SCIENCE you need to ABANDON EMOTION / RELIGION ... to allow CRITICISM OF "WHAT WE KNOW IS TRUE" and LOGIC/REASONING to develop scientific principles. This only happened in Europe ... starting with Galileo Galilei and Martin Luther ... and the ENLIGHTENMENT (which basically ended the political and social power of "the church").
@@Muck006 Primitives? In my cycle, primitives would wrote comments so cringy and unnecessary that half the Empire would laugh their Prothean bottoms off. Oh, I see they still do.
Chikasaw. Chick + Saw. Chicks are just Livestock, and Saws are used to cut trees, so Naval Supplies. As Chikasaw, conquer provinces such that you hold an equal number of Livestock and Naval Supplies provinces and achieve the trading in bonus for both good. But those trade goods aren't particularly valuable, so I imagine a bankruptcy would be in the future. Bad investments and all...
7:48 For reasons I can't quite understand, natives have two humiliate CBs. 90% sure one of them lets you take land. 1 is the standard humiliation war, and the other is available for anyone you border. It's really strong, because you can use it on significantly weaker neighbors to farm show strength peace deals to generate 100s of monarch points. In turn, you can use that to tech up or core more unclaimed land as your tribal lands.
@@Muck006 they probably started bordering each other to leach off the institutions spawning from the Cherokee. Whether they formed by conquest or other means I do not know.
@@Muck006 That's what happens when the AI goes the federation development to the end. It unites all tribes in it and settles their tribal land. Because tribes dont really care about bordergore in the migratory phase, much less multiple tribes, it looks like this.
The best thing you can do is to reform the native confederation. You get new ideas (not always) and your country will have the name of your confederation
Hey Red Hawk, I have an insane challenge for you for when you get to the nation of Tonga in 20 years. Tonga has unique ideas, and some very strong diplomatic modifiers, like +2 Diplo Rep. So what if you somehow tried to become the Holy Tongan Emperor?
The Chickasaw are believed to have originated in the West of the Americas, so I think it's only right if Chickasaw formed Mega Chile and snaked from Patagonia to the tip of Alaska
When I was playing with Extended Timeline mod, the way I took territory was to declare on the ally of someone you border so your real target gets called in. Beat up your real target, then peace out with them first and take their provinces. Hope that helps
As Cebu, join the HRE and become Emperor. Secondary Objective: Become Catholic Defender of the Faith and/or have a Habsburg on your throne. Context: Modern-day Cebu City has a festival called the Sinulog Festival, which celebrates the local people's convertion to Catholicism. The logo of this festival is the Two-headed eagle of the House of Habsburg inside a Native Shield. The emblem represented the twin purpose of the Habsburg dynasty, the ruling dynasty of Spain then, as "Champion of Catholicism and Defender of the Faith." and the Native Shield represends, uh, the native people.
20:00 Hawk I think what happened is that because when a federation passes their final reform they absorb all tribal land belonging to their members, and I'm guessing you just hadn't finished coring so their absorbing of tribal land meant they got it.. really weird but hey
Not always, on very hard they will still have more. But you can become stronger than others on hard by bulding the great trail and doing the enlistment edict (natives can't see edicts in state view, but you can still pass it through edicts interface)
follow the trail of Aztec for they came to Mexico from near lands of Chiksaw probably so Chiksaw remember that and follow them to found and conquer Mexico
Ok. One thing about these large native nations. You can prevent condotieri from sieging everything if you keep an extra stack of infantry in your land. Don't fight them, just chase them away before they start carpet sieging. It saves all of the manpower.
I woulda liked to have seen whatever rachet state Europe was in. My guess, based on the size of Austria and the slow colonization, is that Castile PU'd Portugal after Portugal unlocked Exploration, and also allied Austria. Austria went nuts and kept calling Castile into central European and French wars, resulting in Castile / Portugal never having the resources to really colonize.
Might be fun to do something like Pass the Chickpeas: As Chicksaw conquer either all (or however much you can) of India or of Anatolia. India produces like 70% of all global Chickpea production, and Chickpeas are believed to have originated from Turkey
BTW at 13:00 you should not state anything shortly before you wanna embrace institutions because the cost of embracing it increases with every stated province you have
As Chickasaw you can try migrate to Europe and "blend in": embrace Christianity, convert to a monarchy/Republic and try to get into the HRE. This sounds "fun"
"The french? Kinda weird..." Not when you know that Jacques Cartier was the first to go in North America, founding Canada (on the Saint-Laurent), and was the first to settle on Manhattan (Naming it la Nouvelle-Angoulème) Signed a french person xp
Chickasaw is already settled. Unlike Cherokee, they can pass the last federation reform, which switches them to absurdly powerful generic Federation ideas (-4 national unrest, -10% core creation cost AND dev cost, +20% manpower, +30 settlers). I suggest forming a federation and annexing all of Peru before Spain gets there.
There is also the option of creating a few "tables of random options" ... kinda like a mix between the goals you draw in a game of RISK and the random encounter tables from D&D.
Oh man, I had no idea natives could become hordes. I tried and failed at forming an indigenous Australian monarchy recently because I had no idea how to do it. I'm definitely going to take some lessons from this to apply there. Will it be enough to survive Europeans? Probably not, but worth a try!
Have you done creeks before? They kicked my ass as venice in Florida, now they're in a coalition with France and Russia and i can't get my Florida back xD
I think you should be able to form America as a Native tag by first reforming into a Horde and then a Monarchy or Republic in order to switch to Nomad and then Chinese tech group.
You really should play the federation game more. You can really grow it quite large and the final reform annexes everyone for no cost. Once the colonizers come your federation cohesion increases super rapidly. Once you do the last reform you can join another federation, take it over by being the strongest, then federate a second time.
You have teleported some explorers so you can see only Eastern Europe and Asia, big technology advancement in the future with the Satellites from US, man

Alaska and Hawaii not counted lol.
you cant reform into a monarchy without feudalism. You can't get feudalism by deving since natives cant dev institutions. By going horde first you can skip getting feudalism.
