Instead of keeping your coffee pods, Splenda packets, drink mix sticks etc in the boxes, try using inexpensive ziplock bags. You can fit a lot more without using boxes that take up too much space. They have much more compact knife sharpeners freeing up more space in your utensil drawer. I think about just how small of an item I can buy to use as little space as possible. I just use a dual purpose 2 cup Pyrex measuring cup to boil water for various uses instead of a collapsible tea kettle plus it serves as a measuring cup and is good to use for mixing stuff in and when not in use you can store stuff in the Pyrex cup too. Instead of keep my ziplock bags - gallon and quart and I also carry some sandwich size and smaller sizes I roll them up by size and rubber band them to save even more space. It only take less than a minute to grab one. Eliminating cardboard boxes that stuff comes in creates more space.
Ha ha 😆 old spice…… we all thought that my dad loved it. Every Christmas…. Every birthday….. I can still hear his voice now unwrapping yet another bottle of old spice sounding like it was an amazing surprise. Turns out… it was once a joke between my mum and my dad…. And we kids didn’t get the sarcasm. It was a tremendous shock to discover he hated the stuff! Bless his heart ❤️.

Hello my friend, I too am old spice guy. I use the aftershave and the cologne. If you look up the history of old spice you’ll find that every port in the world has a son or a daughter that was left behind with the old spice smile. stay thirsty my friend.😎

I used to love camping in a trailer. Everything had a spot to be stored in. Your van has a lot of storage. Very nice!

Oceanside was always our favorite beach to bring my kids when we lived in CA.

Curious, how long do you stay out on the road before returning home? I’m thinking of purchasing the Travato and it will be our first RV. This doesn’t seem to be the 59KL model so how do you manage with electricity and water? You mentioned that you don’t shower in the RV but those tanks are small. How many days can you go before you need to take care of the tanks? I know it will vary. I’m just trying to get an idea. I want a small RV for the convenience of travel but am trying to get an idea of how long we can travel in something this small.

I’m curious about getting approved for a rv loan especially if your older without a job and retired with some money in a bank account but not yet collecting social security benefits. I’m assuming you must put down 20% which I can do, how am I going to get approved for new Travato? Good video guys!

First of all....my first born is an Alisa. So 🥰🥰🥰 I only recently found your channel and just love you guys. We have been researching class B's and have pretty much settled on getting a Travato. Now that you have had yours for a while, still love it? Any problems? Take care...keep doing what you do.
You mentioned you keep up with the humidity in your RV. Does you air conditioner unit have a dehumidifier or do you have to put one in the RV when humidity is high? Thanks!! I love your videos!!! I think you have talked us into getting a 59K! We are so excited!!!!

We play SkipBo with a normal double deck. Jack=11, Queen=12, and King is the skip card.

Love this. That is the model we are interested in so very helpful. We had an older model class B and I miss it so much. We just spent a week in Oceanside in a condo at $400 a night and the state parks south of there are now $75 a night so $30 sounds pretty nice. I purchased trapezoid bins for the angled front wall in our trailer and I'm thinking they would work very well in those type of cabinets too. Love your idea about putting hoses on hooks in the back. I have seen others add some PVC tubing on the driver side for extra sewer hose. Glad I found you guys. Thanks and happy trails.

Would love to see your folding chairs, both backpacking and regular. I struggle to find good, regular height chairs that fold down small
I was curious how people used the K model and you're the first owners I've found to post a video. Very well thought out storage solutions. I wondered how often people would use the tables or if they would leave them set up in one space. With the G you always have a place to sit and eat. Do you ever make the big bed? I was wondering if you lean back watching tv if it would damage the window shades? I was surprised how much you could store under the bed...wonder if the KL would be much smaller? Do you think a single, small folding e-bike could be placed inside by the tv?

Alisa, your organizing/packing skills are amazing. It has helped me so much. While I have not quite reached your level of carry on only, I was able to pack for 10 days Seattle/Alaska in one medium sized suitcase. I did not take any type of carry-on. I was pretty happy with that. I used to be a horrible over packer. Thanks for the inspiration!

Love your pans - they are out of stock, but I'll keep an eye on them. I paid a lot for a set that is not non-stick, but will purchase your non-stick set once they become available. Great ideas all the way around

Alysa, I am loving your hair. You look great at this lenght. Also, loved some of your ideas for storage. We have a 40 foot fifth wheel so I have lots of storage but it sometimes gets scattered and the containers would help. Merry Christmas.

Great video - haven’t pulled the trigger on a camper van yet. Where do you store your luggage when taking the van to the cruise port?
We don’t use our traditional luggage this way. We have collapsible duffle bags that we use. We brought the regular luggage once and it was a pain. We kept it in the bathroom but had to move it when we needed to get in there.
So do you live in this RV year round? I got a stupid question. Where do you get your mail? 😂
We don't live in it full time. We do have a home base but go out for long trips.

Great video! Using the Gorilla putty (museum putty) gave me a great idea to re-use my magnets in my new RV that doesn't have a magnetized refrigerator door like my old one.

Is there any way to MacGyver the two under-bed storage areas so that some longer items can be stored under there? I realize one of the hydraulics to lift the bed is connected to that center section, but could some of it be carved out underneath? Love the layout of this van. Thanks for the tour!
