Thanks for watching!! the rims are from jegs 15"X8" 4.5" back space. And the tires are from Cali Tire. 205/75/15 tires (very tight fit) U.S. Wheel Paint Ready Solid Wheel (Series 68) Size: 15" x 8" www.jegs.com/i/US-Wheel/947/458-5810/10002/-1
Sweet build! I just bought my dad a red 85’ S15 which is also a “short” bed and he loves it! We picked up in Tucson and tried to drive it back to Phoenix but broke down in Mesa. Minor setback but can’t wait to revive it and get it back on the road! Still received many compliments while being towed away! lol
@@davidk6 Iv been wanting to do something similar, but alot different, been wanting to put a excab on a single cab frame, then cut the bed down, pretty much make it an ex cab with a 4ft bed 😂
Really nice looking truck. I've always loved that wheel and tire combo with the baby moons. I have a second gen s10 and not sure if it would work as well.
Nice truck like all the upgrades on the inside. I also live in Phx and I have a static drop on my 91 Sonoma 5" front and 4" in rear was thinking of dropping rear 7" but it bottoms out a lot to much with the front at 5".So I am going back up to 3" front and leave it at 4" rear drop. My truck drives good at 3/4 and decent ride. I am looking for a good paint job if you know anyone in Phx.
Thanks, I had 5"and 7" drop but it was the rear that bottomed out even after cutting the bump stop metal perches. was going to mini notch it, but went with bags instead.
@davidk6 I have an 89 with the duke and was wondering what all did you have to do to run that weber on it? Are you using the same distributer? Does it start any quicker than the stock tbi?
Hi, The weber came on the truck when I bought it. Also this engine is not a duke, it was a one year only engine in 1984, then replaced by the duke. But it does look like its using the stock manifold with an adapter plate for the weber, and the stock throttle cable. Not sure if the distributer is stock. The weber runs pretty good, it seems a little rich but with the 4 speed manual it does not bog down. As far as starting, I have an electric fuel pump so when I turn the key on, when its cold, I wait a second then press the gas peddle once and it fires up every time. When its warm I just turn it on and it fires up every time. 👍 This engine is really low on horsepower so its not quick at all. And I don't know if it is better than the stock carb was. Thanks 😎
That’s a super cool truck
Thanks!!!
Love them squarebodys
I want these wheels and tires. Lol. Where can I get some? Love the combo.

Yeah, the body's are more modern. though, I have seen a few of them that looked pretty good with that tire combo.
That's a nice truck. Love the old school look. Come take a look at my 85 Jimmy. Same color, and original paint. No repaint.

How much should the cost be to add AC? If I’m paying to have it put in?
It is a lot of work. you have to pull the whole dash apart. I could guess from 500 to 1000 maybe from a repair shop.
Anyway I can contact you about info on shortening the bed I got passed down an 88 s10 long bed but like the short bed look much more. Thanks
Yeah, you can email me at davide350@outlook.com
Cool truck man!
Where did you get those seats?
Thanks! The seats are Procar lowbacks. I got them from Summit Racing.
