I think for a 3060 laptop 130w you can do high + dlss quality and get 60fps at 1080p
if you optimized the game yourself a mix low/med/high/very high you can lock 60fps
I'd say this is still decent for a ''next gen'' game

@@okjustdoit5257 make sure it's on turbo mode and optimus off, you can get few frames that way, then try lowering shadows and world details to medium and enable dlss

@@okjustdoit5257 I have 140 w rtx 3060 if u manually overclock it +200 mhz on core clock and +300 mhz on memory clock( and use dynamic boost if ur version supports it) I get same performance on this game as the desktop 3060
3060 laptop with 45watt cap here, with dlss on quality at 1080p, I play with a mix of med-high at around 60 fps, BUT, the expansion area(burning shores) is unplayable even on very low :(

Not really, the PS5 configuration is between high-ultra according to DF itself.

@@payphone151Okay sure trust DF. But from my own observation playing this on PS5 it looks somewhere between medium and high. Another factor is that PC will always be inferior when it comes to optimization that's why there are people who prefer consoles. And No, 3080 is way above PS5 specs. However, that doesn't mean games will run better on a 3080 than PS5 since in PC you have to consider other specs as well such as CPU. PC ports are getting shittier recently.
This means a 3060 laptop can run it over 60fps at medium settings. 6gb vram of a 3060 laptop is enough for 1080p medium settings in 99% of games
it can run it at high with dlss and lock 60fps at 1080p
you can always lower textures to medium but 6gb is enough for high I think
note: of course the rtx3060 laptop has to be the 115watt variant at least

@@arico7923 I'm sorry this is just me guessing but I have a rog 3060 laptop 115w that can reach 140w and from what I can see there isn't much difference between 3060 desktop and laptop beside vram desktop only 10% -15% more fps at best and I'm basing my guess on that

I'm on the 3060 on medium settings I'm hitting high fps like 120 or higher I'm getting that 144 fealing medium settings looks dam good no joke
