Porgy and Fluke Fishing with Micro Jig in Middle Island Long Island Sound

  • Filmed in early June of 2021 and exploring the area in Middle Island long island looking for anything that bites. Fishing with micro jig and tipped with clams and spearing. I was able a couple of flukes and a few porgies. Happy I didn't get skunk but no big fish.

    ..we get a spring time run of butter fish have you thought of going jigging for them ,,keeping in mind they have a smaller mouth then any porgies..?

    I think it's a "fluke" you are losing all of your fish
