Right this film introduced me to Gumby and his friend's and introduced me to Clay Animations from this film to watching Wallace & Gromit for the first time and Chicken Run films
Note that with the voice cast, they credited "Charles Farrington" as the voice of Gumby, Lucky Claybert, Fatbuckle and Professor Kapp. That was actually a pseudonym Dallas McKennon used, based on Art Clokey's full legal name: Arthur Charles Farrington. Yet McKennon's real name was used for the "Voice Coach" credit (as with the 80s series and this movie, Dallas McKennon was the only professional voice actor on staff; the rest of the voices were done by various Clokey/Premavision artists and animators).
(Memorable crew members of *"GUMBY: The Movie")* Peter Kleinow (R.I.P.) (Trimensional Animation), the stop-motion animator of *"THE TERMINATOR"* (1984) & *"TERMINATOR 2: Judgment Day"* (1991) John R. Dilworth (Animation Consultant), the creator of *"Courage the Cowardly Dog"* (1999-2002)
This song and "Take Me Away" are awesome songs.
❤❤
Same
For me the ending to this film was always bittersweet because I always wanted more of Gumby. 😢

the guitar strumming & solos are still awesome to this very day, I never get tired of them.

The music is absolutely great. I love it.
Also, I got word that Michael Jackson was to be a part of the soundtrack. Shame he didn't do it.
My brother and Ioved the movie. And…3:05 Hey Gumby is moonwalking. Michael Jackson style!
MJ was actually supposed to be a part of the film's soundtrack. If the trivia is to be fully believed.
There isn't anything Gumby can't do.
I'm actually working on my clay stop-motion film too!
Would love to see it when it's finished!
Always loved this movie lol.
This song needs a music video.
What do you think you're watching?
Agreed
@@MrOrgeston It's kind of a music video, also kinda not.
This reminds my of Kansas’s carry on wayward son
