    God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea.
    Psalm 46:1-2
    Also, I meant to say roughly 400 dollars, not roughly 300 dollars profit per pig.

    Ryan that was an excellent explanation of what it takes for small scale hog raising. You can be proud of yourself. You are an outstanding young man who clearly loves farming and the land. Such a hard working teenager is hard to find. I know your parents are very proud of you. God bless you and your family.

    Excellent tutorial and introduction to raising pigs. Very informative. Glad you've found a farmer/supplier that will allow you to buy your pigs on your terms. A well done video. Thanks for the video, and for the verse. Much appreciated!

    Sometimes I get the feeling the reason hogs are so destructive is they get bored. Well done!

    Very informative and well done Ryan. If you angle your camera down a bit, we can see more of your surroundings and not just a picture that is 75% sky. Blessings!

    what Ryan didnt say is, pigs dont sweat so you need to cool them in the summer. also be careful storing the feed, keep it in a covered metal container so youre not fighting mice and rats

    Hey there, Did u say ur living in Illinois State ? Do u know where America's largest pig farm is in your state? we have supplyed them with most of their breeding female pigs for the last 9 years, every month we ship them 2,000 or more wienner female pigglets. that farm must be huge with over 1 million pigs, but as i understand it non of the slaughtered hogs stay in the USA 100% is exported to Asian countries like Japan,Thailand etc. if u are near the transport route we can send u a few hundred male pigglets to help expand ur bussiness. will ask the truckers in a couple of weeks when the next batch is ready to go.

    Is there any part of the pig that people don't want to eat? After living in Asia for a few years I realized I had eaten every part of a pig at some point.

    • @teenagefarmer
      @teenagefarmer  Рік тому +2

      Well, no not that I'm aware of. You can eat any part of it, there are certain parts that I wouldn't want to eat though, but that's just me.
