Danny's new lungs - Pediatric Transplant Center - Boston Children's Hospital

Danny Martinez suffered from pulmonary hypertension so severe that a lung transplant was his best chance at life. But due to his serious condition doctors in his home state didn't think he was well enough to survive the operation on his own, so he was transferred to Boston Children's where doctors fitted him with a special lung-assist device to help him gain the strength he needed to receive his new lungs.
