Massive Attack from Bristol 🇬🇧
It's a small World, as Andy Vowles, aka " Mushroom " lives near me. My ex wife used to clean his house.
Mushroom know the Family.And watched my youngest Son Conor grew up from an early age.
Conor was my youngest of three children.
Conor died in 2011, following a moped accident in 2011.
Andy/ Mushroom, was there for us, for the Family, and eventually helped out with carrying Conors coffin at the Funeral.
Not just a great talented musician, but a lovely guy too.
I haven't seen Mushroom for ages,but I'm forever greatful for his support and help.

I had this album on constant repeat for at least 10 years, every song is stellar, and their follow-up album 'Protection' was also utterly flawless.
Love you Martin Fry, F-R-Y! Good album review. That album reminds me so much of that time in the 90s.

Classic album Martin,I have it on my collection Great choice, Saludos from Sunny Miami Florida 🌞🙌
Also albums from singer Shara Nelson are gorgeous (What Silence Knows, Friendly Fire).
I think Protection actually is a better album. (And some will say Mezzanine is a better album). Even though Blue Lines has the best few songs, Protection has a better flow.
Blue Lines is still a must though
