Holly, you are so adorable. You made me smile during your grocery haul (around 20 minutes into the video) because of your pure joy for simply finding the turkey right after talking about the romaine and how you were planning on making turkey roll ups with it. It’s the little things 😊
@@gofarsogood thank your for sharing them!! You’ve been a huge inspiration to me for at least 5 years, ever since I came across one of your super helpful beginner’s running videos on The Run Experience channel.
I got injured back in December because i used those high cushiony shoes thinking they would help me in my recovery runs or easy runs. To this day I'm dealing with plantar fasciitis and i did something to the little muscle attached to my little toe. I've been on a journey to recover from that but it still bothers me
Gday, the Lavatools Javelin meat thermometers are really good. Have saved me from eating undercooked chicken a number of times:) Thanks as always for the videos
I love to follow you around all week just to see how a super active person like you get's through it! The ant problem is a recurring thing over here too, I tend to buy boxes with gels in them to put down where I see them and a few hours later they're all gone. Loved the meatballs, except for the parmesan, it's just like I make them! I do boil em sometimes instead of baking them and then freeze them until I need one and then bake them.
I just finished the Yosemite Half! I was hoping to hit a pr myself but the buses that took runners to the start line were over an hour late and by the time we started at almost nine o clock it was scorching hot
Thank you for showing us your skincare routine, I had forgotten how much I love Clinique and kerastase and I have let my skincare routine lapse. Also what make are your blue leggings as they great!
Hi Holly - Good choice on not getting the Nike Vaporflys. I was using them a year ago and had major issues with my heel. I stopped using them and switched to another Nike shoe for running. I had to do more strength training for my posterior chain and my heel recovered. I recently went on a 10 mile run and decided to try the Vaporfly again and my heel issue resurfaced. They are comfortable shoes but I was advised not to wear those shoes because they do cause problems! Glad you are doing well! All the best!
Both my doctor and physical therapist said there are so many variable factors that play into cushioned shoes and it's usually bio mechanical issues and everyone is different when they walk run. The shoes may be good for some.

Ahh that’s the worst when it’s logistics, but damn I bet that was a beautiful race!

I’m glad you liked it! The blue ones are “all yours” model by lululemon. I loveee them.

Such a bummer! They seem awesome otherwise.

Holly, how did the cortisone shot work? I’m having similar issues.. Great vid!
Actually pretty well! Now deciphering if it was indeed a tear. I'll get an MRI if it keeps causing problems, ugh.
What does the normatech do??? Just curious.
Leg compression! Helps use blood flow to improve recovery!
