As I’m getting older, a warm up is even more important! Love all your videos ❤
Love this... Added the flat backs, mini Cossacks and calf/toe raises to my warm up today and felt great through my run!
I love this! Thank you! I have noticed what a difference a good warm up makes in my run. It feel smoother and helps with better leg turn over.
It's true the warm-up does help. After that, I run 4 or 5 miles. And I'm ready for my half marathon this Sunday.
This is great Holly, thanks so much. It's given me more motivation to do my warm-ups...🙌🏃🏼
This advise is very positive, thank you for sharing this message❤❤❤
So happy to!
Thank you Holly, as always this is super helpful and motivating 🙌🏻👊🏻
Preach it Holly!!! If people don't believe you, I would encourage people to stretch, roll warm up one leg/one side really good and not the other for ten minutes. Then try jogging/running a mile and see if they notice a difference in one side vs the other. I never used to warm up, stretch or roll. I then tested this theory on one side as suggested and could tell the side I rolled out and stretch felt so much better than the other side. A couple of times the side I didn't warm up or roll felt very tight. I also learned that rolling and stretching is good for some strength training.
As an older runner I always do a warm up. I guess it is not long enough though. I only do about 5 minutes at most. I still feel like it takes about 2 KMs before I start feeling good. At least this builds mental toughness to keep going. LOL I will try to do longer and incorporate some of your moves in my warm up. Thanks Holly.
I used this and went for my longest run ever. 18.3 I got back and since I haven’t found your cooldown my body exploded. Just kidding. I actually feel great the next day.
Haha! I can get an updated cool down video done for you. In the meantime, ua-cam.com/video/3wTw-0H71AU/v-deo.html
Loved the video...Even if you snuck in burpees by another name.
