    Another question. Did you have baffled sump and oil cooler? I've heard many people say you need them to get in the track or else it wiil starve from oil and increase oil temp.

      @mattymaxx  3 роки тому +1

      Baffled sump isn't needed with only 595RSR Tyres. Anything stickier I would probably recommend it. Oil Cooler is a MUST. Before the oil cooler, even on a CT9 turbo it was getting hot in summer after 2 laps of Blyton. 120c+. I have a Greddy Oil Cooler kit, height of summer 30c ambient, 10-15laps, oil sat at 105c no problem. All Day Long.

      @@mattymaxx Did you have problems getting the oil to operating temps on daily use with the cooler?

      @mattymaxx  3 роки тому +1

      @@DimZin No the Greddy kit has a thermostat in it. Oil normally sits at 90c. Just normal use!

    Hello. Silly question but i see your gt handling pretty good even at high speed, changing directions fast. How stiff have you got the suspension front and rear? I'm just beginning to improve mine on handling so any tips would be nice

      In terms if handling the car is very basic bud.
      Its all stripped out to bare metal inside. It only has some soft springs on the stock shocks with the whole range of Whiteline parts available. (Front and Rear Anti Roll Bars, Anti-Lift Kit, Camber Bolts up front. etc) Then just some good tyres and a alignment. Then from there its just driver/throttle control. :)

      @@mattymaxx Mine also has many of this things, but doesn't feel so stable. Tires are worn but i don't think that's the issue. I've heared a good set of coilovers and setting them stiff on the rear and softer on the front improve the handling.

      @@DimZin Coilovers would improve handling. But I would go softer rear, stiff front. Most of the coilovers for these cars have the rear WAY too stiff and it makes them start to drift at high speed, you'll spin. The springs on this car came on it from japan, but whatever they are there great. Its not too hard, surprisingly soft. Just seems to work so well!

      @@mattymaxx I have tein monoflex on the front and superstreet on the rear so the rear is softer for sure. I went to a professional and set all the car's geometry. Also added some oz superleggeras 15" with r1rs. The car is handling way better than before and the guy that set it up told me it will be improved much more with a caster kit. By the way i so you have 205 width tires on the front and 195 on the rear. How's that combination and was it a direct fit on the front or did you need spacers? Sorry for the long message 😁

      @@DimZin I have the same OZ Superleggera wheels. Nice and lightweight! The 205 wide tyres on front, i had to cut off the little arch lining tabs on the outside lip. Bar that, perfectly fine.
