Played all 3 this month, was worth it! I got hooked in cs, soc was 'ok' but I never met 'the guide' so my ending was **** xD And I was confused as hell, I played without knowing anything about stalker, the world etc. Watched the story of SOC after finishing, wasn't sure if I should play cs, glad I did, I had so much fun with it and cop afterward. The mods I used, were the ones that fixed bugs, FOV switcher and Weapon Skinpack. But I also increased my weight limit to 150, (200 for walking), I am bad at inventory management, in all games. In CS I also used "alternate ballistics" and no weapon strafe on move, without them the weapons weren't that much fun, like some nightmare where you shoot at things and nothing happens.
The "Every NPC and item disappearing" bug was very strange, and very unique, never saw this bug in any of my playthroughs nor heard it from other people.
@solidone4237 🤔 quick saving and loading didn't work for me. I tried also reaching a distance where the NPCs may unload (not sure if that's a thing), and saving/loading, but no matter what it would still be a ghost town.

As a fallout , Metro , elder scrolls and open world game lover , patiently waiting for STALKER 2 , which one of the three games would you suggest I buy and play first before hand? For PS5
Shadow of Chernobyl (SHOC), the first one. I personally think it is the best one overall, but opinions vary on whether it or Call of Pripyat (COP) takes the throne. However, SHOC offers an easier introduction. In contrast, COP drops you straight in and expects you to figure out more on your own. Since COP is a direct continuation of the story from SHOC, some elements won’t make sense unless you have played the first game, SHOC, first. I personally started with COP first myself in 2010, so neither is a bad choice :)
@@shakeithigh Wtf !? You're trolling him, right ? SoC got one of the hardest introductions in videogame history. They explain almost nothing, you're starter weapons are useless and if new you need your 3-4 hours to even get an Baby AK. Bandits attack you straight from the beginning, while they remain friendly in the beginning of CoP. Stop fvcking lying, for real.

This was great. instasubbed! Actually playing the trilogy right now. I never got to COP before now. It's amazing! favorite one of the series so far. Thanks man
I played CoP roughly about 1000 times, at dozen of different PCs and versions of Windows including XP, 7, 8 and 10. Steam version of game, "free" torrent version and licensed CD as well. And i have never seen despawn bug. Literally zero times. In general, as for me it's a least junky stalker game, actually. Of course famous X-ray engine created some unique artifacts with each new playthrough, this is a stalker game after all. But clear sky have a lot more bugs. For example, there actually are tracers in clear sky, but for some reason it will not work on modern systems. If i remember correctly, it have something to do with directx or other windows components.
Game is really buggy but some of the bugs I see for the first time in your video. About voice localisation seems it was done just to pass Steam requirements
0:50 Can't dodge pseudostomps with perfectly timed jumps. Can't aim modular grenade launchers ("zoom" doesn't count as aiming). And with some guns, you aim over the rear sight instead of through it. And on top of all that, they made snorks move around all spastic-like. Those are all deal-breakers for me. 'Shadow of Chernobyl' is the best of the core games.
Cracks me up when people complain about 2009 graphics. 😂😂😂😂 game is years ahead of its time. Better then 45% of the AAA games relaesed today 15 years later Sry better then 99% of AAA games released today😅
Graphically CoP was a decent step back from Clear Sky for optimisation reasons. Just the way it was. It still looked fine, but it was a bit weird having just finished up Clear Sky.
They could have added more texture to the land ......just downloaded and played for 30 mins and there's literally chunkw of land that's just the worst ive ever seen
Oh, i also remembers that surprisingly stalker actually has this mechanic. And also you can do funny thing - if you shoot 9mm vertically hitting a wall, bullets will actually fall back and can even do some damage.
also shadow of Chernobyl literally doesn't have shooting like that its only clear skies, im very tired of casuals praising of all the uniqueness being removed if you want to play a arcade shooter fine but don't advocate for our games to be worse cause you want to mindlessly point and pull the trigger also tracers being in every gun is moronic and human enemies have always been quick to kill in all 3 games
"casuals", "our games", gotta chill out a bit. Everyone has a preference. You enjoyed the guns shooting at right angles. I enjoyed being able to shoot a sniper rifle and not having to play Where's Wally with my bullet everytime I wanted to correct for drop off. I'm sure Stalker 2 will have settings that will cater to both your hardcore, and my filthyfuncasual tastes. See you then!
Shadow of Chernobyl was not bad with bullet trajectory, but Clear Skies was Abysmal. I went straight from SoC to CS and immediately saw the difference. You'd have to absolutely wreck the barrel of your gun for it to shoot like that 😂 I work at a gun shop/range and have been into firearms for a long time, and I have never seen anything like that, even in the worst cases.
Just finished replaying Shadow Of Chernobyl on the Series X. Gotta disagree with you on this. The shooting was extremely inconsistent and frustrating. Hated how often bullets would pass directly through enemies dealing no damage. However when hip firing that doesn’t happen. Definitely a technical issue due to janky coding and the fact it’s an old game so I was understanding. But I definitely feel like the experience is better with actual enjoyable gunplay that doesn’t have you saying “I literally just watched the bullet go through him” moments. However it seems some guns do it some guns never do it. Snipers and ironically scoped weapons gave me less issues this time around. I remember the hit detection being a lot better on PC. Probably an issue related to the console port.
the thing i hate about CoP is that the gunplay is just the worst the recoil barley exists at all, i want to shoot at things not a point and click simulator. the engine seems dull and basic the old engine had a charm and uniqueness to it on CoP it just felt like a knock off unreal engine and i already largely hate unreal engine. The opening is also boring and takes WAY to long id also happily not have the side quests but have the zone actually feel alive and interesting again oh also it looks WAY worse than clear sky yet runs worse, my potato pc runs clear skies fine but struggles with CoP sometimes cause they forced a open world that just led to a boring barley populated mess
